The crew got to know Emily and interacted with several of the LSP personnel. Sir Baltus seemed to be a nice fellow, but none of the crew cared much for Bobby Rangle. Sigrun worked out with Zaki each day and they discussed working together in medical. |

Week 3 - Jenghe
--- Week 3 - Jenghe (Activities and Diary) --- | The Week's Financial Transations |
---|---|
Jenghe is mostly a water world now. A small moon crashed into Jenghe about 100 years ago and destroyed the civilization there, melting the polar caps and inundating much of the dry land. Currently, Jenghe is controlled, some would say owned, by Ling Standard Products. Although, almost all of the population works for LSP in the fishing industry the Star Port is controlled by the Imperial Port Authority. The Port Captain is concerned about the treatment of the LSP workers and their families. The workers have unionized and everyone is afraid LSP is going to take direct action against them. The crew discovers that this is Rangle and his team's (transported in Low) ticket. Sigrun warned the Union leader. The ship attempted to lift with no cargo, but was damaged by an explosion and had to land back on Jenghe for repairs. After landing half the crew did the repairs while the other half helped the locals out after a typhoon blew through some isolated islands. Contacts Made:
The repairs cost about 100 Kcr and so the Ship's Company is down to roughly 700 Kcr before buying any spec cargo here on Jenghe. Searching for cargo:
(Assuming you buy the cargo, ship the freight, and transport the 8 passengers you'll have 452Kcr in your account as you leave Jenghe. Reminder: you'll have a 150Kcr mortgage payment 32Kcr salaries and 16Kcr maintenance money due at your next stop!) |

--- Week 5 - Extolay (Activities and Diary) --- | The Week's Financial Transactions |
---|---|
Extolay (B55589-A Navy Green) is a smallish world with a Thin Atmosphere. It has one super-continent and a few islands located in the ocean that covers the remainder of the planet. The law level on Extolay is EXTREME and an Impersonal Bureaucracy runs the local government. Ling Standard Products has a near, but not total, monopoly of all import/exportson Extolay. They own many of the mines that dot the central desert that covers the interior of the super-continent and control most of the trade that those mines they don't control. A few small towns/cities dot the coast of the continent. LSP allows some local competition to it trade monopoly in these towns. Labor unrest is brewing in the desert here on Extolay and LSP thinks it is being fueled by "subversive elements" in the more independent coastal towns. Contacts Made:
