Analysis of patterns of movement isn't possible given the timeframe. However, Freya can work out what she can't see - there are no obvious military barricades or defences and no visible troops positioned around Star Town.
Freya's aware of the limitations of the drones but immediately sees the value of "expendable vs. expensive" - despite several losses you still have viable recon capacity!BackworldTraveller wrote: ↑Fri Dec 04, 2020 7:42 pmDid the drones get anything trackable in their watching?

"I also got the impression that Ms East was trying to keep the Junge out of it, or at least try to minimise local factions being drawn to the Outworld Coalition ranks. I'm sure the guy paying the bills is Gudrun. Why didn't they cut off the Baron's money? Well, I thought the Baron was getting short of money. That was why he brought in the trade delegation, to revitalise the situation. So you can't cut off what doesn't exist. So why do this now? The only reason I can think of is to put pressure on the Baron while the delegation is in town, and she said she believes her employer wants no harm done to the delegation, so that make sense."

Liv skims more AARs she suddenly says “Dammit!” then clarifies “Jakob are you sure the “one eyed man” badge that you saw was a unit insignia and not a personal charm or token? I know that these are cultural totems and I don’t understand enough context but I know that both the one eyed man and three inter linked triangles are used as insignia almost exclusively by Sword World special forces - specifically their “Hunting Commando” or “One Man Army” units. The literal translations are just that but explain their role and capabilities: deep strikes, long range recon, covert training cadres and that’s just what doesn’t actually fit under “Black Ops”. These people are elite, professional mercenaries - they would have a “force multiplier” effect almost entirely consistent with what we saw tonight”.

Jakob went to the screen with Liv, and somehow managed to keep his fingers on the keyboard. He ran through the data and visual logs he dumped earlier, and zoomed in. Then took clips from the other two people he had recorded.
"This is why we wear the fancy pajamas," He said, showing Liv the image. He shared it with the rest of the team. "Follow up question is, has anyone seen Vitt in the less than fully clothed? Does she have any tats or markings like this?"

"I don't remember seeing any such tattoo, but I haven't seen much of her by the pool. I also wonder if Gudrun has someone in the guard. They knew about our first operation with the guard. Major East also said they had zero range images of the tanks underneaths taken on disposable comms. I can't see how they could do that in the field, so I can only assume someone in the guard did it, someone who has access to the tanks and wouldn't be suspicious, but not a tanker as they wouldn't put themselves in danger"

Re: Inchin: Endgame
Simple ter get those images. Parked those things in town often enough. Buttoned up they're blind, an' the Guard's bin slack. They use the same route every time too, easy ter leave a comm on record and let 'em drive over it or past it.
Not doubting there's someone on the inside though. Seems like Erica was hintin' they'd paid off Perron ter find a reason ter stay at Zindernuef. Troopers'd be cheaper than officers.

I'm looking for anomalous movements - people who move from the rioters and head to meet other such people. Tag each head and get the battle comp to follow it through the vids until they get blocked by terrain. Any looking evasive as they do so? How do their movements correlate to comms chatter? Do any of the characters tracked appear to be sharing comms frequencies? The actions were coordinated and we have been observing for an hour or so, so we should get something. They weren't in LOS so they must have been using Radio. With all that dust that can't be as tight as they'd like.
I know this is a lot but we have the kit to do this type of analysis.

I agree - They were mobbed in the square too with people climbing on their vehicles...no trouble getting pictures. Tankers as police! "You have a point, I just assumed they might need that kind of information before building the bombs. Is there anything else I've missed that we need to discuss? There is one unrelated thing I need to bring up before we close the meeting, but only when we're done discussing tonight "

I'll be vettin' any ex-Guard recruits, an' I'm not takin' anyone trigger-happy, or anyone who enjoys bullyin' locals. Got Sarn't Gaughin ter flag up the wrong uns too. To be honest I doubt the ones as like that sort'v thing'll try an' sign on with us anyway.
Regardin' the Monoc operation, Ms East implied they were directed to degrade the Baron's capability to the point where he'd negotiate. Seems like that's what the private meet with the delegates is, the presentation of terms. Be interestin' ter know who's in an' who's out.

Freya
You will see the recovery and removal of various objects from about the junction by a pair of Erica's troops. They then return to the cafe and four buggies draw up and the crews go inside and then leave for Barter Town. A headcount indicates they are taking additional passengers but there is no easy tally to the crew numbers before and after. All wear worker's coats and hoods.
There is no visible contact between the itinerant "vigilantes/rioters" and the military unit.
One interpretation of the returns from your observations might be that some of the assumptions you have made might not be valid.
(OOC: I get what you are trying to do but possession of drones with “live feed only” cameras can’t really allow you analysis of the town’s movements over such a short timeframe. Even if you could such analysis/surveillance of individuals would be hampered by the generic dress of the inhabitants - everyone wears hoods, masks and worker's coats.
These drones are cheap - they feed you “raw” real time tactical footage with no analysis. Broadly they do (and are doing) a great job of getting their heads blown off instead of yours! They are not strategic surveillance platforms with sophisticated analytical support.
You can store the live feeds they send you (again I have assumed you are) but while tagging and tracking every person you see is possible this would require someone to retrospectively do that / task a computer with suitable analysing capacity to do that.
This really is something of a “laundry list”. If you want to pursue this strategy then it needs to be broken down into smaller task sized chunks).
Freya can see that there are small groups “milling about” Star Town and you already know the Junge are now freely using unencrypted radio. You also know that you haven’t picked up anything else. From general observations you do see that there’s not a lot of folk out and about.BackworldTraveller wrote: ↑Mon Dec 07, 2020 12:05 amNo-one moving from the parley to anywhere else? "I'll see if Polly knows more about who's attending. She told me she'd heard the Prof was going to present his findings. I can see a lot of manoeuvring from the delegates depending on what he says"

Polly replies that all the top delegates are invited but attendance from lesser functionaries (assistants/bodyguards) is discretionary.

Re: Inchin: Endgame
Frank will ask Polly if she is attending and does she know which room?
ooc: I'm trying to determine where in the mansion the meeting is and who is going to be guarding them, I assume (what's left of) the Baronial Guard (that does not fill me with calm)

Jakob will spend a few moment assembling a few breaching charges, based on the doors Frank thinks might need to be opened.

The meeting will be held in the Dining Area / Lounge of the VIP area (above "officer country").
https://www.unseenservant.us/forum/view ... 43#p503543
As a nod to security the the VIP area is "restricted" to those not attending.
However, the non attendees can remain in their suites or go swimming etc and freely transit between venues but the intent is to have no distractions from the business of the meeting.
If you were to keep the (northern) doors to "officer country" open you'll have (restricted) LOS into the VIP area and may even be able to overhear some of it.
