Why don't we settle for returning to the tower (clearing it if possible) and once we're done with it we decide what to do next?
Lanny is good with this. Although Tratiln brings up an interesting point by wanting to ask the villagers about any problems with local humanoids in the area. If, after talking with the village elders, we find that a certain group of humanoids (whether kobold, orc, or other) has been harassing the villagers lately, then perhaps that might influence our decision on how to proceed. Otherwise, I think that the tower is the clear consensus for our next course of action.

Character sheet updated with new Ventriloquism spell (deducted 75gp of spell scribing supplies, 150gp of supplies remaining). This will likely be Lanny's default spell in the "Level 2" slot until he has time to learn a proper Level 2 spell. He will attempt to test out his new spell (and maybe win over some of the kiddos in the village) by performing a short ventriloquist act on the first night of the festival. He will ask Thordin if he will to volunteer to be the ventriloquist dummy, since the dwarf is somewhat short and puppet-like in stature.

Tratlin would like to make sure we head back to Threshold in the near future and deal with Elywn but will stick with the party on what we're doing now. He does want to finish the tower, is so it can be cleansed of evil and destroyed for good.

And that's not a problem with id'ing the stuff once analyse is memeorized.

Saul wouldn't mind taking a look over the bees if anybody else wants to come along with him. Sounds like a quick sidequest.

Neither the tower or the kobolds seem to have posed a threat to the villagers, while the orcs are a problem for them. Of course, we know that the kobolds are raiding close to this area so it's probably a matter of time until they bother Jessup.

I still think the tower can wait, but it's up to the majority.

Checking the bees might be useful if it provides some easy healing. We can try putting them to sleep, if it works we might even make that without a fight.

Meagnor still would like to go to the tower first. But if not going there, he would rather pay the Bloody Bones orcs a visit.

Re: Healing

Assuming we will have three overnights in town (Thaumont 22, 23, 24), all PCs should reach maximum hp through natural healing except Thordin and Marodin (who will themselves be at 26/32 and 18/23, respectively, by the start of Thaumont 25). Were any CLW spells cast on Thaumont 21 or Thaumont 22?

Re: The Chain Mail +1

Was Tratiln able to determine if the chain mail "has no more unrevealed magical properties" (as per the spell description)? I guess I'm unclear as to whether the Analysis needs to continue on the next day, or if that is even allowed under the house rules. If we are able to determine only that is chain mail +1, Lanny will offer to exchange his more protective chain mail +2 for Meagnor's chain mail +1, since Lanny gets a +1 dexterity bonus to AC and Meagnor does not.

TK, sorry, can we retcon that Marodin casts CLWs on himself and Thordin every morning until they're both at full health? Semele can contribute as well to make sure we top everyone's HP off.

I would like to go with Saul, Zeb, and who ever else wants to go, to see if we can get s supply of the healing honeycomb.

I also would like to help the villagers. I think the biggest threat is the orcs, and then the Kobolts. So I guess my vote has changed to;

1. Spend one of the days in town to make a side trip to get some healing honeycomb.

1.5 Party Hardy.

2. Go on an Orc killing spree.

3. Annihilate the Kobolts.

4. Clear the tower.

5. Follow the map to the burial mound.

6. Make it back to Threshold in less than 30 days to take care of the evil magic user.

What do you guys think about us creating a sort of apiary, assuming we get the bees to sleep?

The townsfolk could profit from the bees and as a reward we'd get a cut of all sales which we could then use to buy honey for ourselves. If we're smart about it we could take some with us to Threshold and start a marketing campaign and get some traffic in Jessup.

How big are these bees? 1 foot? Always have a hard time telling if so. Couldn't we get someone in Jessup to make us a large cage, even if it will only be ready in a few days?

Just a quick idea but I think we could do better.

The most recent vote count still has the tower in the lead:

Marodin: tower, kobolds, Threshold/Elwyn
Drudsa: orcs, Threshold/Elwyn, ___
Lanny: kobolds, tower, orcs
Saul: tower, kobolds, Threshold/Elwyn
Innana: orcs, kobolds, tower
Thordin: orcs, kobolds, tower
Meagnor: tower, orcs, Innana's map
Bregalad: ?
Tratiln: tower, Threshold/Elwyn, ___
Semele: (non-voting member)

Based on an elaborate point scheme in which first choice gets 3 points, 2nd choice gets 2 points, and third choice gets 1 point, the score is currently:

tower: 16
kobolds: 11
orcs: 12
Threshold/Elwyn: 6
Innana's map: 1

Bregalad, I did not see your vote (unless I missed something).

TK - The eastern road leading towards the orcs eventually connects to a north-south road leading back to Threshold, right? If so, we could always save the orcs for last and then take that new road back to Threshold. I believe the new road also passes by the area where the magic fountain is too, right? (the magic fountain to which Thordin obtained a map - see "Plot Hooks" thread). Just something to keep in mind for later, I guess.

He was unable to determine if the chain mail has any additional properties.

Hey guys. I'm not being able to keep the pace of this game and I think it's better to leave and not spoil anybody's fun (and give room to someone who can be more active). Meagnor will stay for a while helping the elves of Quinthos's village, maybe he can return to adventuring again in the future. His elvish bow and dwarvish sword are available if anybody wants them and obviously he is not taking the chain mail anymore. And he can switch armors with Semele too. In fact you guys can take anything from him (if TK allows that).

Thank you guys for this great game, it has been a lot of fun! Congratulations, TK, for being such a great DM! I'll see you guys in the table again in the future, hopefully.

TK, should I make a last IC post?

That might be feasible Luis, but we'll only be able to assess that once we've seen the bees.

Take care, rremedio. I enjoyed having you adventure with us, and will miss you being around.

And Bregalad thanks Meagnor for the time he saved his hide, by casting sleep on two of the three ogres that he foolishly attacked!

Sorry to see you leave rremedio, maybe we can get one tabletop game going at some point here in Brazil. Now I'm living in the west part of Sao Paulo, let me know if that would be feasible for you and we can try to assemble a band of brave souls.
