The obvious relationship is that Nalani and Tiberius have been working the same boat for the previous Term. Is that what you wish to go for? If so how about

the "Yolanda's Hope", a passenger ship that circles the belt stopping off at multiple rocks as it goes. You have just finished a circuit at Sparks and the ship has had to have a major overhaul because of "flash-back melting on the starboard fusion injectors" that has been nursed as long as possible but won't pass formal inspection which would make the ship unable to carry passengers legally.

I think Stirling meant a Tiberius / Noor contact not Nalani as he discussed an investigation but the scenario does suit Arnwulf as he last termed on a merchant vessel and makes his second connection.

If we can agree on that then Arnwulf taking some Pilot (Small craft) 1 would help him shuttle folk about.

Nalani could take the Contact Merchant as reasonably you have trawled space more terms than Arnwulf. It then gives the party a 2nd contact as I generated one via the roll up. I already have a weapon so coming from New Earth, taking title deeds to some land makes sense.
