Joker
Joker looks vaguely annoyed at V. Spengler's reaction to releasing Jack. Yes, I will include full details on the ghost's release. Will you require hard copies, or will electronic mail be enough?
After the call is finished, Joker will scan over the financials and the new info there. I am lost. Does this mean we are being stolen from? Or are we being used as a money washer?

No I doubt it, technically you want money laundering to be a successful business. I'm guessing its just a southern fired variant of greed is good, if some moneys good more moneys better. And he imitates the mayors Ha-ha laugh. I expect he just wants to double dip into the profits and HQ contracts said an investor could only own so many shares....so if we could prove Sanders was drawing from both of them he might have to sell his shares. Jason jumps up, Joker your a genius, I gotta go find a copy of the Investor Agreements and check the limiting clauses!

Re: The Firehouse - Home Sweet Home 2
Jason goes looking for the paperwork in the original nest of files he and Etta had been building in the library looking for the paperwork.
As he looks through the paper, Jason thinks to himself, "Sure hope Etta is ok, I don't think she would have just walked away from this without a scary good reason." He thinks and holds up a tattered book with reciepts and papers shoved in, looks at it and then tosses it into another pile, "Should probably send her daughter some flowers, it would be a nice gesture." He finds some a ledger. "Plus I will be a delivery boy to pay back on this if the franchise goes belly up, I could use the experience. He thinks as he laughs to himself.

While Jason goes through the financials, Joker completes the upload to GBI. His electronics diagrams are clear and precise, and his report is as clear as he can manage.
Part of the report will be a strong defense of the decision about Jack- that he appears to function as a psychopomp, and by Jason's firsthand account is a surprisingly comforting presence for the dying.

Wow, what a week. Just turned in my first week of work for this class and I had forgotten how hard it is to be a college student, and gradschool is a beast. Been a real joy see y'all's posts though!
Jason, what you would need to know about the investment shares starts more or less here:
viewtopic.php?p=396388#p396388
Jason looks over the paperwork that Etta was able to dig up, and despite her good organization skills, this paperwork is a legal version of a bag of snakes. To summarize, GBI being affected by the economy a year ago when the contracts started, was short on fund and Luis Tully was looking for more feasible ways to open new Firehouses. The idea was brought up to work with localized investors who would donate to startups while keeping all GB logos and equipment like proton packs and the containment units in direct control of GBI, while not allowing any one entity to gain majority control. White Hat Reality approached GBI with the property that is now the firehouse for free for a shared stake in the investment, turning it into a kind of rental property.
There is a series of investors who put money into the beginnings of the franchise, but as the tax laws switched around with the past election. The contract is pretty rock solid, and the amendments for the changing laws are clear if jumbled together. The investors are listed in the initial paperwork as well as White Hat Reality, but at some point, late in the negotiations there is an added adendum about private investors being allowed to sell their shares at any time. Upon signing, it shows most investors only holding roughly 1 to 3%, and Sandy Sanders is listed as only holding a personal share of 30%, while GBI holds onto its 15% for intellectual properties and equipment.
Etta had found some more history on the investor shares before she left: Of the original 46 investors, only Sanders maintained his ownership, the rest selling their shares to White Hat Reality, giving it an unintended majority stock of 55%, giving Sandy Sanders himself 85% share of the Fort Smith Ghostbusters.
Joker finds the internet is still down, but with some fenagling, he is able to send his information via his phone.

Joker
After Joker finishes sending his files to GBI, he visits Julia at the front desk.
As I understand, there are some possible cases that need investigation? If you can give me one or more of those, I will begin.

Julia looks up at Joker. There is still the investigation on Belmont that Etta was working on. There are some other smaller jobs here too.
Someone called in a haunted house off Stateline Road, and there has been a disturbance in a new housing edition on the southside of town, we also have a couple stand out request: One is the Spiro Mounds where they have been having sightings of strange lights, and the Heavener Rusestone where the caretaker out there has been claiming to see a giant bat. I wasn't sure if we did cryptids or not.. both of those are in Oklahoma.

I will do a walk-through of the 'haunted house'. Depending on what readings I collect, I'll move on to the 'disturbance'.
Joker will get the addresses, then call for an Uber/Lyft/ whatever. Since this is just recon work, he will take only a dedicated PKE meter and an IR/UV camera along with the apps on his phone.

Nice out! Cool and cloudy
Coming from here: viewtopic.php?p=558958#p558958
Julia arrives on time as usual, with the usual trays of coffee and treats from the Fort Smith Coffee Company. The secretary hurriedly makes her way inside and sets the box of goodies down directly on her desk, putting a strawberry scone with cream cheese on a napkin on her desk with a coffee before taking the rest to the breakroom as she usually does. Once that is taken care of she cannot wait to get a bite.... okay two.... and a sip of coffee. She leans back in her chair in a moment of bliss and sighs. Then she picks up the phone and hitting the intercom button: The time is now 8 am this foggy Tuesday morning. The temperature is a nice 72 degrees and the high today will only be 75 before the sun goes down.
On the agenda today is a last-minute call from yesterday from Mr. Slade Slimmerman of Slimmerman Motors, reminding you that you were supposed to meet him about a commercial yesterday. He sounded... eager. I'll give him a call and let him know that you are not at your best today. I also have some good news, we are back in the black after that job yesterday, but we are going to need a lot more for the end of the month, so if you have any tricks up your sleeves for the next couple weeks, I'd do it. As you know, the Jeep is a wreck... Whoever is the mechanic, talk to me... On a final note, once more, a very thankful Coffee Company down the road has sent free coffee and breakfast which can be found in the breakroom. Considering what the ER doctors said, I would suggest everyone take it easy today. Good morning Old Fort Ghostbusters!

Re: The Firehouse - Home Sweet Home 2
Okay, so everyone earned enough BPs back to break even or better after that encounter in spite of injuries with the exception of Jason, sorry dude. So he is defiantly still feeling the worse for wear after everything. The rest of you, the ER doctors were able to patch you up pretty good and all and all you are mechanically okay. I have two things to add to that... let every fail be due to fatigue when you narrate it, and I would still say you are not feeling 100%. So just give some consideration as the day wears on that you were pretty torn up, just no one is dying.
This is one of those weird points in games where mechanics and narrative wouldn't quite match, like when you are half pound over encumbrance so you eat a ration and suddenly you are half a pound under and walk just fine. We know in real life that wouldn't work, but whatever. This would also be a good time to consider buying stats and abilities for your chars.

Re: The Firehouse - Home Sweet Home 2
Roy hears coffee and comes down to get two cups of it, and perhaps a pastry "Next we need to get a job helping a video game store, free games as a thank you." he chuckles then wanders off to a comfy chair to sit and enjoy his coffees and pastry. "Mechanic, do we even have one of those?" he says in passing as he makes his way to a comfy chair. "Thanks Julia, you are the best." he makes sure to thank Julia before he forgets.

Joker looks rough when he comes down for breakfast- like he hadn't slept at all. He collects a couple of donuts, and puts on a pot of his industrial-strength coffee.
I will be salvaging components and repairing things. Call if you need me.
His intent for the day is to repair as much as he can, and sort salvage from scrap.
brains roll for salvage and repair

The electronics lab will echo with Turkish covers of heavy metal hits all day. Unless disturbed, Joker will only come out for coffee, cigars, or lunch.

Jason wakes up in his rack not quite sure how he ended up there, but it was nice and warm so he decided not to think about it too hard, until her tried to get up. Ugghh...maybe just 5 more minutes. he mutters and rolls over another dull ache moving thought his body, Maybe just go back to the hospital...visit Jack...hehe When he finally leaves the bed he makes his way to the libray to check emails, and sends Gabby a message
