Re: OOC
I had to PM an admin to get into the dice roller, but that was because I never got an account activation email. Is your internet connection slow enough that the captcha times out before the request processes and it wants you to re-prove you aren't a robot?

Re: OOC
If you keep having problems ask the Admin: viewforum.php?f=2
In the meantime, can you roll "on the fly"?
If all else fails you can use the roller on my old forum, it's still there.

This might help out as a standby:
http://www.wizards.com/dnd/dice/dice.htm
It seems to suffer less "glitches" than other dice rollers!

We used to use this one, it has e-mail verification so the GM gets a copy of the roll: https://pbegames.com/roller/

Re: OOC
Just because the dice roller has never rolled below an 8 on 2d6 doesn't mean its glitched. That's clearly a feature. It seems to suffer less "glitches" than other dice rollers!
Re: OOC
Absolutely - it's just a matter of picking a roller with "quirks" that suit the game system.
The "always over 8" roller for Char Gen ...
For saving throws the "grumpy" Unseen Servant roller "Meh, all the cool numbers are gone - you'll just have to use these 1s and 2s..."

You can't kill me in space if I get the priesthood to kill me before we leave the planet. I'm too clever for your schemes by half!
Re: OOC

All these "sudden noises" might be too much for Ridley and have him clawing for the pin/feverishly striking matches to light the fuse on the suitcase nuke!

Re: OOC
Clarification question: did Kor and Ridley buy any actual fireworks? I was under the impression "fireworks" was a euphemism for high explosives. Is Remington being asked to do an innocent Oghman 4th of July, or to do his best black Scottish cyclops impression?

Oh thank the Lords of the Jump. I was bracing to roll untrained demolition and pray I came out of it with all my limbs.

Re: OOC
Not going to rule that out, it’s a box of fireworks created by an arms-dealer called Crater-Maker from whom you just got a nuke ...

Ah, just light the blue touch-paper and retire to safe distance, it'll be fine.
assuming you know what the safe distance is
Remington could just set everything up and hand the match to Ridley of course.

Re: OOC
Remington still has all his fingers so I can't complain too bitterly, but I feel the need to point out that chemistry is totally his wheelhouse. He has Physical Science (Chemistry) 1. I don't really think it would have improved things given that he was winging it on the fuses and not trying to make his own in the lab or anything, I just feel the need to remind all you barbarians that Remington is a renaissance man of the sciences.

Re: OOC
Sorry, should have looked at the character sheet before posting, a good reminder to do that in future.

Re: OOC
The problem with Remington is that his skills are shotgunned every which way. When I was looking at his sheet to make sure he had chemistry I was finding skills I forgot he had. If I can't even keep track of him I can't well fault you for the same thing.
