thirdkingdom wrote:Okay, before we get ahead of ourselves. According the to the treasure sheet the PCs have found what I am going to call 30004 gp worth of treasure. The majority of this is in the form of 6 diamonds worth 5000 gp apiece; you will not be able to sell these in Jessup, as there is no market for it in a village that small. However, you still get the XP even if you can't get cash for it.

So, 30004 divided among 9 PCs and one henchman. Semele gets a 1/4 share of the treasure, so there are a total of 37 1/4 shares to give out. 30004/37=810.91. Semele gets 810.91 XP, modified as expected. Each PC gains 3243.67 XP, again modified by exceptional Prime Attribute scores.

Let us take the next 48 hours or so to level up PCs, address any questions and decide what to do next. There are roughly two months game time until Elwyn has to be dealt with. Also, however, keep in mind that I will be adjusting that adventure to reflect the PCs' level.

What equipment was left over from the kobold ambush is broken and useless. Basic equipment, including shields, will be available in Jessup, as will mounts.
Cool, that actually leaves me at little over 1k XP from level 5 :D. Do we get new HP rolls now or after we've rested one night in Jessup?

That should put Bregalad well into level 3.

TK, may I receive Bregalad's next die roll for HP?

It looks like his saving throws improve, thief skills and BAB increases to +2 as well.
Nice, thanks!
I think my character sheet has been fully upgraded, if you'd like to take a look and confirm everything checks out go ahead.

Already posted in IC my intentions (check on Castanha, food, help Innana and get 40 arrows) and I don't think I'll be in for today so I'll see you folks in 24 hours as I have some stuff to do tomorrow IRL.

thirdkingdom wrote:I'm not sure how I've been doing this before, I assume by pulling numbers out of my arse, but looking at the character sheets I see that Marodin, Tratiln and Semele do not have entries for their mounts, or else I am missing them. I know -- or at least I believe -- that everyone purchased mounts, but if we can get this rectified ASAP that would be great. Let me know and I will roll hp for the horses that need it.

Looking at the sheets that do have horses, I see a couple of riding horses (movement 80') a couple of ponies (movement 70') and Saul's draft horse (at least, that is what I assume it is, as it has a capacity of 4500 cn). His draft horse has a move of 30'/round. I am assuming that Innana can rotate through as needed sharing a horse.
Marodin has a war horse. Semele has a riding horse.

viewtopic.php?p=36937#p36937 is the link to the post where I bought Semele's horse. I can't seem to find the post where I bought a war horse for myself but I can't imagine I would have bought Semele one and not Marodin one.

Lanny has also reached Level 3. TK, please roll for Lanny's hit points!

Luis - Saul was already at Level 4, so he should not be receiving any new hit points!
Also, if Saul has NOT been wearing his leather armor, then the AC on his character sheet should reflect that. 6/8/6 reflects wearing leather armor; 8/10/8 reflects wearing no armor. Lanny's suggestion to Saul? Wear the armor. ;)

Sorry guys, there's a lot to read, I'm kinda lost...Will the party stay the night at Jessup? If so, Meagnor wants to resume his studyings.

Holy crap, with all the talk about levels and whatnot I guess I got way too excited. Thought I was at level 3 and was just now getting into level 4.

TK definitively should double check my char sheet. I was finding it awkward that I got +2 to my BAB when I was already at that and the 4-9 table had me at +2 at level 4, figured there was something wrong there but thought it was just some class confusion and dismissed it. My apologies, guess I'm not that lean, mean, levelling machine . Replacing my HP with the previous values.

As we say around here, I'm not going to say anything more (because I clearly don't know what I'm saying in the first place  ) and take Lanny's advice and wear the armor since Innana declined LOL.

Saul, anyone who is willing to go down into the depths to tap a troll on the shoulder, or disarm traps that could blow up in your your face, and do it with little more than leather armor and a knife is pretty bad-ass is Bregalad's book.

By-the-way, if you need more arrows, please take Bregalad's. He has 19 normal arrows and 2 silver arrows that he does not plan on using. He prefers to use his trusty spear!

And Innana, it looks like you are short on cash to purchase a mount. Bregalad gives you 40 of his gold pieces to purchase one. A pony typically costs 35 gold pieces, and a riding horse 75 gold pieces. (You will be getting plenty of gold later at some point, when we are able to trade in our diamonds.) Maybe someone else can make up the difference for a riding horse for Innana?

When you put it that way Saul does have a few cool adventures to share with the kids in Jessup .

I'll take you on that offer but Saul and I insist on paying for the arrows full price. Thanks a lot :)

Saul can spring for a horse, he really doesn't have anything to do with the money so Innana can pick out her horse and when I get home I'll deduce that from my sheet.

Unless you all want to do a group thing which would be very cool but Saul is enjoying his new found financial freedom and feels like splurging so you'll have to at least let him gift her the saddle and tack to go with the horse.
