Joker 'cigars and coffee are my fuel'
Joker retreats to the electronics lab. He rarely leaves- usually for a bathroom break. He barely speaks to anyone. Turkish heavy metal echoes from the lab at all hours.
Concept
Day 1:[8d6] = 23 ghost [1d6] = 6 brains +3 BP FAIL
BP: 135 Aug 27
Day 2:[8d6] = 36 ghost [1d6] = 5 brains +3 BP Success
BP: 132, [1d6] = 3 $300 Aug 28. Joker wolfs down a peanut butter and bannana sandwich, takes a shower, and goes back to the lab.
Feasability
Day 1:[8d6] = 27 ghost [1d6] = 3 brains +3 BPFAIL BP:129 Aug 28
Day 2:[8d6] = 23 ghost [1d6] = 1 brains +3 BP SETBACK! BP: 126 Aug 29 [1d6] = 2 $200
Turkish profanity is shouted from the lab Birini taşı, seni salak! Joker eats a can of tuna and collapses in his bed, unshaven and unwashed.
BP: 126, $500 in costs, Aug 29

Awesome! Just how I pictured it!

It was supposed to be 'carry the one'- simple mathematical errors can cause huge problems.

If theres anyway for Jason to help, mechanically or just RP let me know!
Re: Joker's R&D Montage: Puro ve kahve benim yakıtım.
I'll say you can loan help to him at half value. So if you roll 10 it becomes 5 added to his own total.

Aug 31 Feasability
[8d6] = 22 ghost [1d6] = 1 brains +3 BP [1d6] = 4 $400 SETBACK! Joker's latest cigar drops the coal on his notes, burning (and destroying) them before he can get the fire put out.
BP 123, Costs $2000
Sept 1 Joker works through the night, never acknowledging Jason's existence. He lost an eyebrow in the note-burning incident.

Sept 2 Joker slumps at the dining table, shoveling dry cereal into his mouth. His eyes are blank, and his skin is pale and greasy.

BP 120 Costs $2500
Sep 3 Dripping from a shower, Joker scrawls and scribbles on the whiteboards.

Re: Joker's R&D Montage: Puro ve kahve benim yakıtım.
that looks like the start of an awesome table, grats!
Jason does his best to help out but there seem to be some real issues, brushing up on his practical applications of technology into the world of the occult, he comes into version 0.2 trying to be a more active help and offering suggestions for the best way to get the tech to interact with know entities.
Starting BP 209
Concept: -5BP, Using Occult talentif allowed
Occult: [6d6] = 27 Ghost:[1d6] = 1 BP: [5d6] = 23
Feasibility:-5BP, Using Occult talentif allowed
Occult: [6d6] = 17 Ghost:[1d6] = 3 BP: [5d6] = 23
Development:-5BP, Cost: [1d6] = 1 * 100
Brains: [3d6] = 8 Ghost:[1d6] = 2 BP: [5d6] = 16
Ending BP 194
While able to repair and maintain Ghostbusters technology, Jason is more of a mechanic than inventor so he goes to Joker with what he has so far:
I think I have a solid way to locate and separate the entities, but engineering isn't my strongest suit. I've been thinking, we can already track different PKE signatures If they hold true to other properties of electicity we should be able to filter, divide, isolate....the works. I started development on this....spirit switcher, he sets an ugly looking metal case with the lab top. But it needs some more to get it to the finish line.

Re: Joker's R&D Montage: Puro ve kahve benim yakıtım.
Joker
The Jelal/O'Roarke Device creates an extension of the Containment fields, large enough to accomodate and temporarily sustain two entities. It includes a readout panel that identifies the two entities, and electromagnetic pulse fields that can separate them within the Device and hold them independently. It has a shorter battery life than a standard trap. It's built from a standard trap, with plenty of additional electronic modules attached in odd places. It has been spray-painted bright orange to make it easy to identify.
After Joker completes the device, he gradually 'comes back to himself'. He showers, trims what's left of his moustache, dresses, and has a large meal of donuts from the coffee shop, ham sandwiches, and fruit. He borrows the intercom: I have been told I am hard to deal with when I am creating. I apologize for this, and thank you for your tolerance.
