Cadavre Exquis

The idea:
A group of people write a collective story, but each author contributes without knowing what the others have written.

How to play:
When this game is played, each author will write a sentence (or a few sentences) in turn. An order will be randomized from the participants. The process will start with the first person writing in a spoiler window. What they write is hidden from everyone but the next author. The next author then contributes to the story using only the part of the sentence that is visible to them by adding a spoiler window to the chain to continue the process. (See sample two posts below)

Continue that process (writing and hiding your content in a spoiler) until every person has contributed, then the entire piece will be compiled and posted for everyone to see.

Purpose:
This is meant to be improvisational and fun.

Recruitment:
I am looking for a few people to participate in this. It is open to as many people as want to join in the activity but I think may work best divided into smaller groups at first.

Nesting the spoilers together is what I was trying to describe but I was seeing that they display in reverse order. Perhaps separating them out would be the way to go.

Sample:

Person 1

The bear climbed the tree to get to the bee hive at the top.

Person 2

The bees swarmed stinging its body wherever they could find skin to strike

Person 3

The toxins spread through its blood stream and caused great swollen welts all over.

Person 4

As the welts grew together a message started to appear.

Person 5

Your aunt is the rightful heir to the throne.

This would be a very light time commitment.

I can put a few examples together for how a sequence of posts would work. I think we would want 2-3 more people to get started.
