Each of you have been assigned quarters belonging to the deceased.

T'prin, when you get to sickbay, you walk in and see a single bed, some storage cabinets, and some basic charts of the anatomies of all 4 races. On the floor, you see 6 body bags off to the side. From the sizes, you can tell that there is one Vrusk and one Dralasite. The other 4 are probably a mix of Human/Yazirian.

Rick stashes his laser rifle and rucksack (including gyrojet pistol) in his quarters. He locks the door when he leaves and then spends some time wandering around the public parts of the complex familiarizing himself with the layout. He will talk to anyone wanting to talk and, if asked who he is or why he is here, he will reply that he and his compatriots were hired to investigate the deaths of the 6 personnel. He will ask what anyone knows about to deaths to get a sense of what different employees are thinking regarding the cause of death.

He will also try to get a rough estimate of how many people are at the station.

Rolls in case you need them (INT, LOG, PER and LDR are all 40)

INT - [1d100] = 97
LOG - [1d100] = 93
PER - [1d100] = 35
LDR - [1d100] = 27

Lloyd will examine his quarters, leaving his frag grenades and the rifle and then head into the station, curious about the Airlock area they came in, but also wondering where the folk were killed.

He’ll eventually link up with Rick and pay special heed to the technology in the place.

I also will check out the bodies, looking mainly for any signs externally of how they died.

T'prin, you examine a random body and the first thing you see is that the person died with a look of terror on their face. Your examination of the body shows two puncture marks around the throat area. The marks are about one centimeter apart from each other. No other marks are on the body.

Daz, you examine some of the other bodies and see that they all had horrified looks on their faces.

Lloyd, you notice that the technology you see is quite standard, but you are really not seeing a lot to be impressed by. The doctor says that most of the goodies are on the research level.

Rick, one of the admin people talks to you, "I am not sure what is killing us, but whatever it is, it's invisible to cameras!"

"Hmm," comments Daz to T'prin. "Puncture wound like fangs? Can you run some tests to see if their bodies have any unusual toxins in them? Anything else unusual about the corpses?"

To our scientist hosts, Daz will ask, "I see several sections of the facilities dedicated to alien studies. What sort of aliens are you researching here? Are their specimens in the facility?"

that was my first thought also Daz, that and relief cause this pretty much rules out viral components.

Okay, T'prin, your toxic analysis shows no poisons, but it also shows that there is no blood in the body.

Rick, the guy your talking to looks around; "Come with me to security. What I show you cannot be revealed outside of this facility." He walks toward the security office...

Daz, the doctor looks sadly at you; "We have aliens there, but it isn't what you think. I can take you there, but you will be disappointed."

Since the docking area is pretty uninteresting, Lloyd will see how the others are getting along. He thinks this Is an interesting puzzle, it reminds him of sealed room murder mystery holovids.

A logical place to go would be the medical bay, so he makes his way there. He’s still curious about the tech in this sealed environment. He’s wondering if the air is filtered from the water or maybe comes from a siphon. He looks at his registry and goes to see if he can find out.
