What would you like to play/run? (Interest Catch-all)

I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.

Looking back through this thread there seems to be quite a bit of interest in playing shadowrun, enough for a reasonably sized group, it seems to be a problem finding someone to GM.

Can't enjoy big, expansive rules-heavy games. Lightweight and easy to house rule makes me happy in my soul.
Paladin, I am with you. About the same time I couldn't get off the floor easily was the time that big expansive rules just died for me. That's why, in the end, I'm not only Lord of the Red Box but also prefer Risus and FUDGE
Yeah, baby!

So, that's 2 players so far? ;) :D

Looks like it!
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

I bought the AS&SH 2E rules for a game that unfortunately didn't take off. I might be interested in giving it another go.

Here at the Unseen Servant we now have visible results on dice-pools, essential for some games.

Today, as a tired daddy stuck in a pandemic, I got myself a few Tunnels and Trolls books and dice.

THUS, I am checking interest in a good old fashioned Tunnels & Trolls dungeon crawl. I plan on using edition 5 with Talents (no WIZ) and a group of 3-5 players- more if the stride hits me. I plan this to be a very casual game (ala Paladin-style)

Right now I'm not sure if I'm going to generate a dungeon or nab a GM adventure. If I do nab an adventure I'll probably do the Dungeon of the Rat (for those that don't want to be spoiled).

Interest?

I am going to start thinking up a cool scenario then, so I will keep you guys in the loop when I finally post it.

Damn. Now I'm tempted. I checked out AS&SH and it reads very much like a Holmes version of ADnD 1e.

Tim Brannan: http://theotherside.timsbrannan.com/202 ... basic.html
and others on ODD74: https://odd74.proboards.com/thread/12364/sh-rules
came up with similar conclusions. If I remember correctly AS&SH submission guidelines also mention Holmes. ;)
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

I watched some actual play games to get a peek and it looked like quite a bit of fun. If I had the mental energy for any more games, I'd be on it.

Very interested in AS&SH! Was in a campaign years back that died young, to my dismay.

Yeah, baby!
I got some love for Risus, too. If anyone ever wants to run adventures in Uresia, PM me please. I'd love to play there! But anyway, Risus in general is good by me.

Okay AS&SH fans......you asked for it.

I am working up a recruitment thread now, though it definitely looks like we have enough interest to get something started already.

I will ask for a game thread to be created once I have that set up. Should have time to put some work into the intro over the weekend.

I would also be interested in an AS&SH game, if there are spots still open.
