Anyone interested in a western theme can also jump into the Casketlands game about to start up.

Pathfinder doesn't interest me but the other 2 sound fun.

Casketlands:
It is based on apocalypse world but the zine that you can download has the rules you need - linked in the interest post.
It is a simple d6 based system.

Are there any Shadowrun games running or being considered?
I just saw the drive thru RPG bundle of 5e books and am interested. I am also wondering if other folks recommend that edition.

Rediscovered Tunnels and Trolls would love to play in a GM campaign after many many quarantine solos.

Considering running G1 Steading (and who knows? maybe G2-G3-and beyond?) with S&W Complete. Any takers?
Failure is always an option.
Re: What would you like to play/run? (Interest Catch-all)
Now that you mentioned S&W, is this S&W? I bought it a few years ago and has been forgotten on the shelves. Anything that I have a physical copy of I want to play...

Re: What would you like to play/run? (Interest Catch-all)
I might be interested in G1. I think I have a PDF of S&W.

I'd be interested in shadowrun. I played 2e decades ago.Samwell Turleton wrote: ↑Fri Jul 17, 2020 6:19 pm Are there any Shadowrun games running or being considered?

I might have some interest in playing Shadowrun. I prefer 4th edition to 5th, though.

No problem with me, I'd need to source the rulebook anyway and those versions are available as PDFs on drivethrurpg.com, all 25% off at the moment. They've got the 4th Ed 20th Anniversary book and the 5th ed one too on offer.

Re: What would you like to play/run? (Interest Catch-all)
Definitely S(words) & W(izardry) but it's the White Box edition (an OD&D retroclone), not the Complete edition, which is OD&D + all the little brown book supplements. S&W Complete gets you about 85% of the way to 1E with a nice, light, intuitive ruleset. You can download it for free here.
Anyway, still mulling over running G1, possibly starting in September. If you're interested, let me know here or PM me.

Whitebox is a pretty great little system. If I'm not mistaken, it's what became of S&W Whitebox after it was left to the fans. I use it for home games sometimes.

Lol! Little is good in my world. Can't enjoy big, expansive rules-heavy games. Lightweight and easy to house rule makes me happy in my soul.

Well, Rob has plenty of experience with AS&SH, maybe this'll be the nudge he needs to run it on the Servant.
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Ooooo, nudge him!
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Paladin, I am with you. About the same time I couldn't get off the floor easily was the time that big expansive rules just died for me. That's why, in the end, I'm not only Lord of the Red Box but also prefer Risus and FUDGECan't enjoy big, expansive rules-heavy games. Lightweight and easy to house rule makes me happy in my soul.
