Hedge's FR 2E Adventures Needs 1-2 New Players...CLOSED!

Howdy fellow gamers > looking for a couple of new players to jump right into a scenario. My game has been running strong since the first of 2013 and we have a solid group of six players currently. Five of those are knee deep in wolves and such somewhere in the Lurkwood, while the other player is off on his own...and facing undead and more! He needs some back up and so I'm looking for 1, maybe 2 players.

Our Campaign ID is 98 (for the Dice Roller) - or you may use Invisible Castle if you'd like.

There is currently one player character (Oggle) in the group, and three NPC's. You have the option of taking over Jase (Human Ranger) or Lewis (Human Fighter) - each have almost no background info and minimal stats - or you can create a new character for the game. Your character can be from Kingsholm or from some other place in the Forgotten Realms.

What I need from you: Stats, bare bones outline, character concept, three-sentence background for your character, and a very brief statement with your age and your gaming experience. Seriously, that's all you need to get my attention.

THIS IS NOT A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED RECRUITMENT THREAD!!
I will look at all entries and pick one or two players/characters who I think will fit best into the game.

Read through it carefully - it will answer a lot of questions of the type of player(s) I am looking for.

I'm keeping this thread open through Friday and will make a decision Friday night...and you will be rolling (virtual) dice on Saturday!!

If you're looking for a game, and are an active player, definitely get involved in this game! If I had the bandwidth, I would jump at the chance myself.

And just hope you have better luck than the NPC dwarf Hedge was looking to find an owner for the other week.

Shooting for the classic hospitaler/knight errant type. Patron is the Triad (Torm/Tyr/Ilamter), though prays to near all good deities as most realms folk would. Will probably choose Ilmater if a single church is required, but I am still tossing my bid in for the Triad. Servant-leadership approach, so not a typical noble/aristocrat.

Raised in a monastary of the Triad between Mirabar and Grunwald. Recently completed training and was initiated into paladin-hood. Travels along the road from village to village to ease what suffering he can, perform chores for the aging, and bring to bear a weapon for those that cannot do so for themselves.

34 yo married father of two and corporate desk-jockey. Started RPG's in 4th grade with Palladium, and AD&D 2nd ed when I was in 6th or 7th grade. Haven't stopped since. Finally stable with regard to work and school and training, so getting involved in PBP rpgs. Above character rolls can easily convert to something else if Paladin does not fit with Oggle. Maybe a half-elven C/F/M? A take on Elrond.

I would be interested; I could play either Jase or Lewis, depending on which one is more interesting.

I can post frequently, I put a lot of thought into my roleplaying, and I have 15 years experience with 2E AD&D.
