The creature staggers towards you with a shambling, stiff gate.
An inhuman growling coming from deep within it.
You notice more shapes in the treeline and the chorus of groaning is getting louder

Yep, I figured it in but since its a tree trunk and you're a fair distance away we'll give it a -4

He throws the treetrunk at the enemy but...

Throw Tree! [1d20-4] = 2-4 = -2

I have a feeling that given the history of the rolls on this character that he is quickly going to become the comic relief meat? shield of the group.

Winding up, 3of4 launches the tree trunk !!!
Losing his grip on the mossy trunk it nose dives into the ground and starts to fall back towards 3of4 like a reverse caber toss

The trunk slams down onto 3of4.
He manages to avoid the bulk of the tree but finds himself pinned to the ground

Sade moves to attack the first creature. "Help free 3of4, I will try and hold them off."

Quarter Staff (2-handed) [1d20+7] = 18+7 = 25 to hit [1d8+5] = 3+5 = 8 damage
Bonus unarmed strike.
Bonus unarmed attack [1d20+7] = 13+7 = 20 to hit [1d4+5] = 2+5 = 7 damage

15 total damage

Qelnaar dashes over to 3of4 and attempts to roll the trunk off of his companion.

STR Check: [1d20+1] = 18+1 = 19

Sade steps forward and delivers a strong blow to the creature's head as it shuffles within range.
Bones crack and a spinning leg kick sends the creature flying backwards to land in a disjointed pile of bones and slop.
The groaning gets louder as four more of the creatures appear from the treeline

Sade easily dispatches one of the muck monsters, while her companions struggle to get 3of4 out from under the heavy tree trunk.
Four more of the creatures shuffle out of the trees.

Since Qelnaar was unable to move the tree trunk off 3of4, could he assist in his next attempt and thereby give him advantage to his strength check?

The abomination next to it lashes out at the elf as she pirouettes gracefully and ducks out of range.
