Re: Adventure begins
Alvar "Well it must be a portal then as we didnt hear the arrow land or hit anything. Shall we come back to it or try walking someone through with a rope tied around them?"

Sasha:
Looking at her map and then at the group. We are fairly deep into this place. We are already exploring the unknown, that inky mask creates an even deeper unknown, I would rather explore it when we are all refreshed. We passed plenty areas of interest on the way in, perhaps we backtrack and take a look?

Re: Adventure begins
Alvar one hand to his chin looking like he is thinking "You make a good point. Say might we all get a look at that map you've been working on?"

Re: Adventure begins
Alvar looks at the map and decides "Ah yes we have quite a bit of unexplored passage behind let us turn back and check that first northern passage closest to where we are now. What do the rest of you say?" he flips the map around a couple times cranning his head getting the bearings.

Re: Adventure begins
you go back to the north tunnel and go north 50', then turn east 100' and it opens into a 40x60 room
In the center of this room is a large pool of swirling water than seems to constantly shift color between blue, green, and purple.
There is a plaque placed on the ledge of the pool.
Bask in the glory of the rough waters of Chaos

Re: Adventure begins
Alvar studis the water in fascination. "Rather intriguing. Not natural as far as I can guess. But it is quite intersting."

Re: Adventure begins
Alvar "Let's check that opening in the east wall." he suggests heading that direction.

you go est for 70' and the tunnel turns south. It goes south for 40' and comes to another of the curtains of darkness.

Hmmm... looking at the map. This curtain of darkness aligns with the other one, like they are both entrances to the same room.
