Glad to have you two join us here!

Re: The Red Moon Inn (OOC)
Hargrim's looking good from what I'm seeing, looks like we're waiting on just one more player to post their character and we should be ready to go!

Re: The Red Moon Inn (OOC)
Are we starting in an area where I would be able to sell my flail and buy a Swordbreaker? Flails are so heavy and I am already wearing heavy mail and a shield. Sell the shield and buy a swordbreaker if able, or can roll play it in the game.

Re: The Red Moon Inn (OOC)
The adventure starts "In media res" with the group will be on the road travelling to Nuln from the south on one of the many roads in the Empire but I don't mind if any players want to sell and buy any equipment before the game gets underway.

Re: The Red Moon Inn (OOC)
Oh also if we don't hear back from our 5th player by the end of the day I'll start the game tomorrow and we can work them in where it makes sense, if everyone is ok with that.

Re: The Red Moon Inn (OOC)
So in selling things back what are you giving us for Gold Crowns? Do we get half book price, full book price or a percent for my flail for instance? And in buying the sword breaker is it book price?Hadarai wrote:The adventure starts "In media res" with the group will be on the road travelling to Nuln from the south on one of the many roads in the Empire but I don't mind if any players want to sell and buy any equipment before the game gets underway.

Re: The Red Moon Inn (OOC)
I've got my character started. Could you look it over and see if everything is correct? I have only played WFRPG once and that was back in '85 when it first came out in the states. The numbers in parenthesis are the adds from the Protagonist career and have NOT been added in to his stats yet. I was curious how to do the +1 to Str when you converted that to % form. Would it be +5%?

+1 to Strength and Toughness would be converted to +10%ybn1197 wrote:I was curious how to do the +1 to Str when you converted that to % form. Would it be +5%?
Everything is looking good for Brynmor so far, also impressive WS roll!

Re: The Red Moon Inn (OOC)
Please to meet you, everyone.
I should have a character ready by tonight, but I was wondering if there's anything I should know about the campaign before finishing, like starting location, if we're meeting in session 1, etc.
Also elves seem really strong in this system.

We'll be starting the game with the group already on the road to Nuln, hoping to find a job to make some serious coin and maybe even gain a patron!Faanku wrote: I should have a character ready by tonight, but I was wondering if there's anything I should know about the campaign before finishing, like starting location, if we're meeting in session 1, etc.

Re: The Red Moon Inn (OOC)
So what kind of careers/roles are you guys looking to go for?
I've not played WFRP before so I'm not entirely sure if having 'too many fighters' is a thing or not, but I wouldn't want to take the same paths as somebody else or tread on any toes.
Also did I roll my WS/BS wrong? I see Brynmor made it with 2d20 instead of 2d10, might explain why mine is so low!

Re: The Red Moon Inn (OOC)
Alright first post is up! I figured a little bit of a neutral opening would be great for everyone to introduce your characters, whether you some or all of you know each other before your started your journey to Nuln or if this coach ride is the first time your paths have crossed have fun with it!
For any players still working on there sheets, as long as you know who your character is going to be go ahead and join on in as well!

Re: The Red Moon Inn (OOC)
Oh no, Brynmor should be rolling 2d10+20 for WS and BS instead of 2d20 I totally missed that nice catch!
Too many fighters isn't really a thing in WFRP as far as I know so feel free to let the dice fly if you're going for random generation or pick to your hearts desire.
