Roamers and Travelers (ooc and questions lV)
Re: Roamers and Travelers (ooc and questions lV)
Cruloc just wants his fair share of the treasure. And to destroy it.
Thanks for the offer of the arrows. If Inferno DMs in the way I would, Kiri has already been awarded XP for the arrows, making it impossible for another party member to receive the same.
Experience points
0-6,000 Level 1
6,001-12,000 Level 2
12,001-24,000 Level 3
24,001-48,000 Level 4
Look at your own class advancement chart and dare to compare. Cruloc is currently near the beginning of level 2. At 3rd level, he may use potions (glances at Garrin). At 4th, magic weapons. It's a long climb relying only on killing and gold. He needs to destroy stuff if he's going to keep up with the party's level.

Re: Roamers and Travelers (ooc and questions lV)
Hey Yyrkoon,
Been thinking about this...
As per the House Rules, I don't give XP for gold or magic items. They are their own reward.
So, I won't award XP for destroying magic items either.
To compensate, I'll rule that Barbarians advance in level at the same rate as Paladins. I'll add this to the appropriate House Rules section now.
So, Cruloc is now 3rd level. Please post your new HP die roll in this thread, rerolling 1s. Please update your sheet. New hit points are added immediately. Congrats and thanks!

Roger that. And thank you.
Roll for level 3 HP [1d12] = 4
Cruloc is currently down 6 HP, so he should be at 39/45 now.

Also, congrats on completing 'The Creeping Doom' by Paul Fairbrother from The Judges Guild Journal, Issue 16 from 1979.

As usual, sorry for the hold up.
RL is the worst, am I right?

Re: Roamers and Travelers (ooc and questions lV)
Mako's idea is a good one. Cruloc will stock up on mushroom rations as well.
Re: Roamers and Travelers (ooc and questions lV)
Everyone may take as much as they like.
As per the weight of standard rations in DMG p. 225, please assume 3 lbs. per day of rations and adjust your inventory and encumbrance accordingly.
Thanks.

That is pretty sweet digging into old Judges Guild stuff. Did you get that idea from Dragonsfoot?
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Thanks.
Not sure. I probably googled something like 'old school d&d giant anthill dungeon' and poked around the internet until I found something promising.
This is an interesting resource too: Adventure Lookup

Interesting. I Googled the adventure, and a Dragonsfoot link came up for extending B4 The Lost City. They discussed using that exact adventure during the module.
