Alordan will help those with the chains to free the woman. "When we free you, sit tight - you don't want to wander alone in these tunnels, you understand? We'll get you out of here."

To the others "when we free her, it may really piss off this stone bastard - be ready."

Saracen asks the captive women as kindly as he can Did this creature speak to you at all? Did he communicate in a language you understood, like common? Is he the same creature that can move through the very rock itself?

Carucenus gets now closer to Mina. He squats down barely three feet from her. Looking at her, he asks the others: "I don't understand... What is this creature you're talking about, that can appear from the walls? Is it a minotaur?" To Mina: "What did this to you? You have to tell me everything, Mina." he insists.

Andronichishche slowly stands up and inhales deeply, then releases his breath with an exhausted sigh. He smoothes out his clothes with his free hand, the other holding aloft the glow stone. While Alordan, Gramble, and Saracen examine the chains and the best way to remove them, Andron walks up to Mina, but allowing the others room to work. "I am truly sorry this happened to you, Miss Mina. My name is Andronichishche ... Andron, for short ... please forgive our caution as this creature has proven to be quite resourceful and cunning. It is extremely important if you can answer our questions. Please."

Andron gestures to Carucenus. "We found Carucenus very recently, almost by chance, as it were. He was ... trapped ... the same day you entered the tunnels, teleported after inadvertantly leaving the light. Talkhor we found beyond the secret door, behind the three minotaur statues. The creature turned him to stone. Was this when you and Sister Theresa were captured? It is now the 19th ... of Goodmonth."

After asking the latter question he remembers seeing what appeared to be a well to his right. Andron carefully moves closer to it and attempts to use the glow stone to shine some light to illuminate the hole. He's careful to not approach nearer than about three feet from the edge, though.

I was simply going off his CHR score. I guess I assumed that she would be threatened by someone who looks like Saracen standing there with a big sword in his hand and demanding answers from a woman on the floor.......in chains.

oh yeah. I totally agree. He is hideous. I just wanted to make sure I didn’t come across as trying to be threatening, but he sure would have looked that way and anyone in her position would have been threatened I agree!

Maag

Maag waits to hear from the people who have checked out Mina. If they are satisfied that she seems safe he'll take a look at the locks. "If yer reckon it's safe to let 'er out, I'll give it a go".

Gruesome Revelations
Freeday, 19th of Goodmonth
Morning, Partly Cloudy, Warm, Humid

Saracen moves a little closer, still nervous about this clearly depleted and chained woman, with little interest in being caught in another trap. Gramble strides right up to the woman without fear and sees that the shackles around her wrists are locked by a key. They look to Maag, who reluctantly moves to the woman's side as well. The unusually adept thug of a half-orc looks over the chains and shackles, seeing that one end of the heavy chain is simply protruding from a smooth area in the rock wall. The shackles look old to the thief, but they give him little cause for concern as he checks them over for any dangers before taking out his lock picks and springing them open easily while the others watch his impressive skills. (that was 2 rounds of action, jsyk)

Tlachtga and Cu move to the final opening, finding more tunnels and spotting the stone blockage in the passageway that they found earlier. Lerrick stays to guard the northern passage, her well spent torch starting to sputter and fail now. Luckily she doesn't really need it anymore inside this well lit chamber. Cresty watches over the other openings in case anything decides to pop in on them.

Alordan and Carucenus move in next to try to comfort the distressed Mina. Both of these newcomers seem to be equally confused as to what is actually going on here, but the kind words from the ranger seem to calm the poor filthy woman slightly. Then the questions start up again, to which she tries to answer as best she can in her sad condition.

"It doesnt talk, it only cackles wildly like some crazed maniac. It did call T by some strange name though, over and over, while he was......" The frial human bursts into tears again at the sight of her dead friend under Androns fine coat. Once she regains her composure well enough to speak again, she continues. "I'm sorry.......I was sure I would be the next one on the slab. Yes, it can melt the rock, and......even.....move through it. Once we lost Cary, we tried to look for him, but we ended up lost. That's when Talkhor was........" A little more crying. "19th of........it cant be! How could we have been down here that long?"

Andron moves a little closer to the well and shines his light stone down into it, finding what appears to be the surface of some clean, spring fed water about a foot or so below the floor. Cu suddenly spins around and begins barking wildly again in the direction of the groups paladin. Can I get a Hard [4d6] Dex chack from Cresty with your next actions, please? And another Save vs. Petrification, just in case. :?

I wont need the rolls until Monday morning, so why don't you just roll yourself when you can.

I don't like seeing characters die by the hands of others poor luck.

Maag

Maag continues with his efforts to free Mina, then picks up his mirror and 'arry the Bastard's sword. He makes sure he's standing away from the walls.

Carucenus helps Mina stand up, if she can, and tries to cover her back with his cap (assuming he has one). "If this thing comes out of the walls, we better try to stay clear off them... Come, Mina." He tries to take her to the center of the room, not quite aware yet of what's going on with Cresty. He also looks sidewides at T's covered body, the loss of his former companion feeling like a lash, but trying to concentrate on the only surviving one and the new ones he's found, and the situation at hand.

Hasn't Maag already freed her as I undestand?
