Maag
Maag looks incredulous at Cresty's suggestion. "Yeah, maybe we can all be sent to anuvver death trap wiv no escape! No fanks!"
At Lerrick's suggestion of testing out the powder, Maag replies, "I am not sayin' dat we should not do dat. But I fink it should wait until we are ready to leave. I'd 'ate to waste it on dis blokes mate." Maag points at Carucenus. "An den 'ave one of us get turned to stone".
"An talkin' of leavin', I'm wiv Saracen. Dis place is nuffin but walkin around an' waitin' for Andron to solve der next problem. Der's no treasure an' even der minotaurs we kill are broke. 'Ow much money 'ave we wasted on payin' for der boat trips as well?"
"Even der bloody fruit is weird", he says, recalling the horrible curved yellow things he had to throw into the ocean.

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Andronichishche regards Maag with curiosity. "Interesting. What you describe sounds similar, although on a much smaller and less debilitating scale. That one was built for a purpose, though. This void appears to have been naturally formed. As naturally as such a thing could be, I suppose."
While the company makes their way back to the dais room his mind races from analyzing the new data points and their interaction with his overarching theory of this place and its inhabitants. Numerous permutations of this theory fight for dominance in his mind as he desperately seeks the concrete evidence he needs to definitively isolate the truth. A sudden vision of using bits of string connecting these data points on a wall intrudes upon his concentration. He briefly considers the utility of such a system before neglecting it as unfeasable in their current situation.
Arriving in the dais room he points down the western tunnel. "As I mentioned before, I think Mr. Gramble's suggestion of using a rope to pull down the statue is the wisest course of action. Preferrably a very long rope, at least forty or fifty feet."
Not quite in the mood for humor, Andron ignores Crestbrook's wild suggestion and turns to address Lerrick's query. "That's the theory about the powder, but there is very little of it remaining. I'd prefer using divination magic first to identify its purpose."

Andronichishche accepts the coil of rope from the massive human. "Thank you, Mr. Gramble, although given my previous misfortunes with traps I should defer the operation of securing the rope to the statue to someone of better resilience. Any volunteers? I suggest securing one end around the neck, and if we have another length of rope, tie it to this one so we may pull from a concealed distance."

Cresty
The paladin is disappointed that he didn't get more support for his idea, but jumps at the chance to help out. I will take the rope and tie it to the statue. I am a master at knots and know exactly what knot to tie that will hold while we pull to remove it from the corridor. Someone with a torch please follow so that I can see what I'm doing and so that I don't get teleported. . Before he starts he takes one of the rope ends and forms a loop. He then ties a slip knot that allows for the loop to be adjusted once placed on the head of the statue. He then moves slowly, taping his sword in front of him checking for traps. Once at the statue he carefully places the loop around the neck of the statue and slides the knot so that it fits snug against the statue. Satisfied with his work he moves back slowly to the others, handing the fighters (including himself) the rope to pull.

Saracen takes up a position near the front, sword and shield ready. If anything is behind it, I will block it whilst those pulling reviver their weapons.

Carucenus Also positions himself at the front, his sword unsheathed and his shield prepared.
Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Maag
Maag stays well away from any potential blast zone or collapsing ceiling. He makes sure there's at least one corner or rock outcrop to act as a shield. "If sumfin goes wrong der will need to be at least one muscular and 'andsome bloke to pull der other people from der rubble". He winks at Lerrick and Tlachtga. "Is dat not right ladies?, he says, grinning.

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Andronichishche watches Maag sidle over to more discrete cover, then quickly glances down at his unshod foot. He rubs his chin for a moment in thought and quietly gauges his position relative to the western tunnel.
Casually he saunters over to join Maag.
