Unfortunately my free time has virtually disappeared for at least the next month so I won't be running anything any time soon. If that changes I'll let everyone know.Isungr wrote:Anything up on Boot Hill?

I have not been spending a lot of time here, but I would be willing to try and get back into enjoying a game on the Unseen Servant. The last few games I've been on didn't pan out, didn't come to a satisfactory conclusion. The GM/DM disappears, players drop out till its unplayable, you all know how it can go at times. I'm putting this advertisement up in the hopes that someone will be able to point me towards a game or a GM/DM that will likely finish a game he/she starts. I'd like to hang out with the old crew again, if only for a short while, and this site has been good to me in the past years so it's worth giving this crowd another shot.
If anyone who reads this thinks they have a good game to recommend to me, please message me via PM so that I can see it in my email. Thank you!

Sorry to hear that. Game abandonment is certainly an issue, especially when people disappear without warning or notice.Rukellian wrote:I have not been spending a lot of time here, but I would be willing to try and get back into enjoying a game on the Unseen Servant. I would like to run a Barbarians of Lemuria variant game. I've about exhausted places that seem reasonable to post about it here. Here's a link to the main pitch, which includes info about the setting and the rules that I'm proposing.
Neil Gaiman: "I started imagining a world in which we replaced the phrase 'politically correct' wherever we could with 'treating other people with respect', and it made me smile."..."I know what you’re thinking now. You’re thinking 'Oh my god, that’s treating other people with respect gone mad!'"

I would like to run a Warhammer 40000 RPG (FFG) campaign or a Hollow Earth Expedition campaign.
Re: What would you like to play/run? (Interest Catch-all)
I'm always interested in a Warhammer game! Which system were you thinking of running? I've only ever played Dark Heresy but I do own Rogue Trader, Death Watch, and Black Crusade as well.

I want to run a Deathwatch campaing for years now but the more flexibe adventure-wise is the Rogue Trader. I will post the following days to check the interest.
Re: What would you like to play/run? (Interest Catch-all)
So I have been talking to Cameron Waggoner, he created a BH 3E campaign.jason.connerley wrote:Unfortunately my free time has virtually disappeared for at least the next month so I won't be running anything any time soon. If that changes I'll let everyone know.Isungr wrote:Anything up on Boot Hill?
He has been going back and forth about running a PbP here, but I'm still working on him

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

Re: What would you like to play/run? (Interest Catch-all)
I joined this forum in hopes of playing in a bx game, or something of similar complexity.
Though I can try something more complicated, preferably with free rules available. Is there a game I can join, either planned or ongoing?

Re: What would you like to play/run? (Interest Catch-all)
i would love some BX too
Re: What would you like to play/run? (Interest Catch-all)
I have a couple of Barbarians of Lemuria games going ... kind of. Posting is slow. One is straight up regular rules. The other is homebrew. Either way, the rules are simple enough to be completely summarized in a single post on this forum.Lance wrote:I joined this forum in hopes of playing in a bx game, or something of similar complexity.Though I can try something more complicated, preferably with free rules available. If you like the look of either game, you are welcome to join us. It would be easier to fit you into the Throes of Thran.

Lance, welcome! Not sure what games are open, but there tends to be a lot of BX here.Lance wrote:I joined this forum in hopes of playing in a bx game, or something of similar complexity.Though I can try something more complicated, preferably with free rules available. I'd definitely love to try playing a Vampire the Masquerade game here. Not run, but play heh.

The game is mostly talking, so it should work in a pbp setting. Alas, I likewise wouldn't try running it.tarlyn wrote:I'd definitely love to try playing a Vampire the Masquerade game here. Not run, but play heh.

I would love to run a Vampire the Masquerade game here, if we can get enough interest that is.tarlyn wrote:I'd definitely love to try playing a Vampire the Masquerade game here. Not run, but play heh.

Re: What would you like to play/run? (Interest Catch-all)
I'd be interested in playing V:tM if there's a copy of the rules online. I don't think getting enough interest should be a problem.
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.
