O'rek looks a bit startled, and amused, at Grimnail's reaction, "Lights blessing, man, i meant no offense..." and ends with a chuckle. "Sounds like O'Hare really took a beating, eh? Sad really for those humble folk to take such a bad turn... you plannin' on headin' back there?" O'rek pays a bit more attention to his mace as he considers. "I might be able to offer some additional hlelp, god willing, to any of you still feeling the soreness of your injuries...?", and O'rek waits patiently for any response as he handles the emblem on his necklace (which appears to be a tree with some other intricate workings in there also..)

Gwillt surveys the other members of the party with a discerning eye and, in a low voice, says, "Aside from the barbarian... our young friend there, Ewell, is probably the worse for wear. Then... maybe me and Strom. I'd start with the kid, first. He likes to put on a good show, but..."

Strom nods at the new arrival but does not speak to him. He is lost in thought about OHare and the villagers there.

O'rek nods in return at Strom. He approaches and grabs him a bit roughly by the shoulder and mutters "Lights Blessing upon ya... may the light shine upon ya to do righteous battle another day..."

Cure Light Wounds [1d8] = 2

Stepping back with a shrug, O'rek stairs at the sky and nods then shakes then nods his head to no one in particular. "Well... yes... not sure about you lads, but it's been a long day for me --- I'd sure like to rest up at your camp and catch my breath, as it were...." he eyes expectantly.... hopeful.

I think now it may be best to stay here the rest of the day, use up remaining clerical spells on healing and then tomorrow, with full spell complement restored and probably all close to max hp, venture back to O'Hare - all agree?

I don't think it did... but maybe Toolychris can confirm? Could always wait until he is sleeping, then sneak it on him. Of course, he might get the impression his snoring has incredibly powerful healing properties and encourage more.

If he doesn't want them, then Gwillt is lowest (from maximum) and would not turn it down. After that, I'm not sure who has what anymore, so we should wait for an update from Dave to confirm before passing anything out, maybe?

As the group mentions/talks about the healing available, Shannigans remembers the pouch that Garth would carry.
"Soothing herbs around here somewhere. Garth once said he would be able to use them for natural healing with study. Hey, Where's the rest of his stuff? His books and papers too. Folks I must see to some of the writings before they are tossed about." The halfling looks about nervously, as if he does not want the magic words to fall into the wrong hands. The wrong hands being anyone but his own.

His interest in Garth's gear:
Sack, Small (2) (1lb) --Scroll case (2) (1lb) -- Papyrus (5) -- Quill -- writing ink
the sack of papers, along with the book are of some importance to Shanny, and persists in seeing them

Silver Sickle (.5lbs) will ask if any have seen it, but Shannigans doesnt want it (better use elsewhere?)

Belt pouch (S) #1 (.5lbs) will consider carrying these, or simply add to his own pouch
-- candle (3) -- chalk -- tinderbox

Belt pouch (S) #2 (.5lbs)
--Greater Mistletoe (30) will take one sample as a momento, and offer the rest to the group's healers
--Lesser Mistletoe (30)

Belt pouch (S) #3 (.5lbs)
--PP = 10 roughly 2lbs --GP = 17 --SP = 53 --CP = 24
eyeballed well, but the hobbit surely cannot carry this without burden, accuracy is probably all wrong

spellbook all of these could be transferred to his own book, in time , except MMissile/ already known

Not much has happened since this post. Some time has passed, with the healing fest you're participating in, so we'll make it afternoon-ish.

I concur Shanny should get the MU spell book and spell components, as they would be most useful to him. Obviously the coin should be divided evenly amongst the party (or used for party supplies or whatever). Same with the silver sickle - sold for best price with procedes going to party fund.

But assuming everyone else is OK with Shanny getting the MU-specific items, I think others should have a shot at the belt pouches and remaining equipment, to make it fair. Gwillt is perfeclty happy with just getting the scimitar to use as a backup, though, so he isn't vying for anything else.

The books and papers were not in anyway tossed about!

I have them wrapped and put away for safe keeping.

Epsilon will pull them out of his pack.

Dave Kaltar's heal was for 6 - can you correct? So Kaltar knows which god Raven follows - correct? So which is it? Or is that undecided at this point? (I know I'm a fine one to talk!!). What is the latest spell remaining count - is it 4 between us? We prob should use 2 on Grim when he is asleep and then see where we are.
Kaltar doesn't take any of the dead companions gear, fearing he will be unable to move if he does!

Done.

No player has officially declared a specific deity to me (which I am okay with). I know you and I were discussing possible options for you and that never got resolved. We can still explore that a bit more.
saalaria wrote:What is the latest spell remaining count - is it 4 between us? We prob should use 2 on Grim when he is asleep and then see where we are.
I listed the 'Spells Remaining' a few posts up:

Spells Remaining:
Kaltar: 1
Epsilon: 1
O'rek: 2
Shannigans: 1 (magic-user)
saalaria wrote:Kaltar doesn't take any of the dead companions gear, fearing he will be unable to move if he does!
Don't let that be your only reason. Pretty much anything found, other than the spellbook, will fall under the bucketed encumbrance total and wouldn't count against you.

If this is the plan of action, I will just need to know if/how the remaining spells will be cast, and upon whom Strom will use his lay on hands ability.
