He has been going back and forth about running a PbP here, I'm still working on him

Admittedly, I enjoy writing campaigns more than running them (as I have drafts for both a D&D 5e and Star Wars RPG campaign in the works atm), but it seems like your crew can't wait much longer, and I would hate to see interest in this niche RPG I've come to adore die out.
If any of them are interested, I would be willing to run a one-shot of Boot Hill via voice chat (in whatever app, it honestly doesn't have to be Discord) for a group of 3-5. The campaign (including my usual break schedule, which is normally a 5 minute break every 2 hours and a 20 minute one every 4) will likely run 4-6 hours, but if they would like I could feasibly coalesce parts of the main campaign with the one-shot to make it run longer (again, if that's something they'd like). I'd be happy to help with character creation, as well as explain the rules of the game to any interested party via DM's of whatever platform we end up using (again, I prefer Discord due to my familiarity with it).
Let me know what the group thinks. As it stands, I could run a game as early as next Sunday (1/26) if everyone gets their ducks in a row by then, though it would more likely be at a much later date (like the weekend of the 22nd in February).
Do you still have the link to the campaign I wrote? If so, you could give them a synopsis of each one-shot and see which one they're most interested in (it's been my brief experience that most people tend to go for the Wendigo one).
