Quest #24 "Spying On Bings Pirates"

Well I am thinking that If Dexter and I slip around to the back side of their camp while you three head in and inform your friends about freedom and get them to stay out of the fight. The rest of you wait by the camp edge to launch arrows and stones. Dexter and I can see in the dark so making our way around to the command tent. I will sneak into camp and cast sleep on the command tent. Hopefully that will put an end to the lieutenant and we can tie him up. If not we burn it all.

Hands 5 flame arrows to Cealwyn,

Cealwyn chose a thatch hut and light it up. Hopefully most of them will head out to fight the fire and will be caught off guard. My first flame arrow will be the signal that I have cast my spell and we are ready to head into the command tent. Hit the same hut if you can to get it blazing. We will take care of business in the command tent and then come out to assist with missile fire to keep them confuzed. Anyone have anything to add. Oh. You three get your friends armed and in the fight.
Keep those loyal engaged if possible. Anyone know of any one else who might help? I was hopeing we might have a few more to help the attack.

Alvin, the former pirate speaks up after Darklin outlines the plan of attack.

"I think I might know of others willing to help us. There was a dwarf and a native man asking around about the pirates over there by that farm a few moments ago. Maybe they will help?"

"Oh and I am pretty sure the villages along the river were once the natives villages. So he might not like all your talk about burning down buildings and scorching the place if things don't work in our favor."

"Just a thought."

Thank You, Alvin. I will do and see if anyone is awake to head out with us. I will be back in a few minutes, I will check on the two and see if they still want to go.

Darklin moves off into the darkness. Eyes gleaming in the infrared spectrum. He approaches the farm area and locates the nearest building. Knocks on the door and awaits an answer.

Sorry to disturb your sleep but I was told you might be interested in going after some pirates? We are off to attack them in the early morning light before their rummed minds are cleared out and functioning. If you interested grab your weapons and meet us at the big tent by the Hi-Lo. There was a Dwarf too do you know where he might be?

I think Grimm is willing to join you, so there is no need to go and seek him out in the middle of the night.

I was just trying to have his addition be more organic so it would feel less forced, but that didnt seem to work.

Definetely. He'll join soon enough. Let him have some scrumbled eggs or something. HE just got from the jungle.

Now that I think of it. They guys is like at 3hp

Actually, this mission wont start till the 18th, so Grimm would have almost 2 days in town to rest and heal. (Daisy already mentioned that she was helping heal the townsfolk during her downtime, so maybe Grimm got in on some of that action?)

So, it only seems like Grimm just got back into town. But since it is a “Time Free Zone” he doesn’t need to worry about things like eating, sleeping, or how long he has been there before doing something else.

Dexter Broadleaf

Dexter nods at Darklin's suggestion. Takes a little of the black jungle earth and darkens his face. He holds his blade over any available fire (torch, etc) to cover the metal's sheen with soot. Once they are ready, he will allow the elf to lead the way to the command tent.
