Mission 6: Jason, Joker, Mac, & Roy: The Frat is Back in Town!
Re: Jason, Joker, Mac, & Roy: The Frat is Back in Town!
As Jason follows the rest of the 'busters he pulls his phone and dials to HQ. Jules, could you have Lionel come over locked and loaded. There are some ghosts doing a pantie raid down here.
Re: Jason, Joker, Mac, & Roy: The Frat is Back in Town!
Mac
Mac will try to keep everyone moving to safety as the others asses the problem and Jason calls for backup.

Nice out but getting more humid.
Mac easily sees that the students have already vacated the area other than a few hanging around behind bushes and corners to watch what is going on.
The rest of you can see the five ghosts, all of them look like stereotypical college kids of the past. There is no real organization to them other than they seem to be working together and enjoying the chaos they are causing. They are now congregating in a group on the grounds in front of you looking like they are congratulating each other and bragging about what they have done.
For the sake of narrative ease, we will call them:
Husky
Red
Crusty
Squat
Skinny
By all accounts of what you can see from their interactions, Red seems to be the Alpha of this Pack of Frat Ghost. Squat notices the 'busters and points you out. They all turn and look at you curiously.
Red Party's not over, yet! New entertainment is here. Let's get 'em!
The Frat Pack laughs and begins moving your way!
Actions?
Brownie Point Pool:
Dr. Jason O'Roarke: 87/87 (**)
Roy O'Dowd: 49/49
David "Mac" McAuslan 130/139
Dzjokar "Joker" Jelal 74/74 (***)
Effects in place:
* - +1d6 on any one roll. (Xmas)
** - Jason has -1d6 on every roll until Aug 24th as he recovers from Snake Venom.
*** - Joker's inbox and searches spammed with advertisements for cedar chips for landscaping, which means a -1d6 to the difficulty of all research rolls until the end of next month. Until Sept 11th.

Julia Picks up the phone professionally, and the sounds of typing can be heard coming to a halt. Thank you for calling Old Fort Ghostbusters, what is the nature of your emergency? Oh, hi Jason. Wait, you mean there are ghosts on campus? Yeah, Lionel is here but you guys took the Ecto, right? But the equipment is here! No, I saw it in the lab, looked like someone had been cleaning it up or whatever it is you do after a job. Look, I can get Lionel over there but it is going to take some time for us to load up all this stuff... Just... I don't know... keep your head down? Bye! she hangs up the phone, but even as she does you hear her yelling for Lionel and the sound of the alarm going off.Jason wrote: Jules, could you have Lionel come over locked and loaded.

Uh oh, Hey fellas cant we all get a long. I myself am a huge fan of continuing education. And you've continued right past the mortal coil.
Re: Jason, Joker, Mac, & Roy: The Frat is Back in Town!
Joker
Fun has fun, guys- but you need to knock this off. We're the Ghostbusters, and if you don't disperse, we'll be forced to capture you and put you in containment.
Joker continues gathering data. Do these guys have anything unusual about their energy signatures? Or are they just "standard" class 4 entities?
Brains roll
[5d6] = 19 ghost [1d6] = 5

The Frat Pack are moving your direction with mischief in their eyes when the mention of football gives them pause. They look at each other and grin.
Husky & Crusty groan and look at Red eagerly.
Red in turn looks like the cat that caught the canary. Football, huh? You're on! Hey! Slim, Squat! Go find them another player!
Slim & Squat salute and rush off in opposite directions.
Red then looks at the guys. You gotta ball? The two remaining big guys start chuckling in anticipation.

Nice out but getting more humid.
From the Firehouse:
Julia gives Lionel the look but then frustratedly nods. If I am going to have to keep shipping you guys around, I am going to need gas money! Julia helps as much as she can carrying the packs and traps to her car, it is not easy and things are certainly not in an ideal transportation situation piled into the back seat and the front bonnet.
Julia helping?:
Muscle Mod (10): [1d6] = 3 G: [1d6] = 3
She struggles... a lot... but she manages okay with the traps. Lionel will be down 6Bps from lugging the packs double time by himself.
Equipment Safty?:
Combined Brains Julia & Lionel Hard (20): [5d6] = 23 G: [1d6] = 2
There are a few rattles and shifting of the equipment on the way but everything gets there intact!
The Drive!:
Julia Moves Hard (20): Speed: [6d6] = 20 G: [1d6] = 2 Maneuvers: [6d6] = 18 G: [1d6] = 2
Lionel gets one hell of a ride, the stories the guys told him about Julia's driving and the unusual zip and zig-zag of her little car were hardly exaggerated! She speeds along like a bat out of hell but seems to have nerves of steel as she weaves in and out of the traffic both inflow and against. She seems to barely blink as she concentrates and seems to perfectly appreciate the urgency of the situation.
Lionel, as a wheelman, you can roll mod brains or cool to see if you notice anything about her driving
Julia and Lionel park the yellow bug in a nearby lot across the wide busy street of Grand Avenue. Luckily there is an underground passage that takes you under the road down the stairs one way and up the stairs the other.
Lionel: Actions?
Julia hangs up on Jasonquickly, but not before he hears the alarm on the other side of the line. It is safe to say help was on the way.
Squat and Slim arrive carrying two students kicking and screaming before dropping them in front of the 4 assembled busters. The two civilians clamor to their feet.
1 WHAT'S GOING ON?!
2 AAAAAAAHHHHH!!! WHY ME?!
Red We need a ball! he looks around and without warning, he punches Crusty in the gut and yanks out a slimy-looking lump. Purple ooze runs off of what looks like... yup... a rotten football.
The ghosts all laugh heartily and they turn to face the busters and their 2 likely teammates.
Actions?

Lionel "Freight Train" Williams
Worn out from lugging the vast majority of their equipment in an attempt to load it into Julia's tiny car at a record pace, Lionel takes a few moments to rest while Julia drives. Fortunately for him, with his eyes closed, he doesn't notice how aggressive Julia's driving is.
Upon arriving at the college, he begins unloading the gear, hoping he will be able to spot the rest of the crew.

On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Joker
Joker is completely out of his element. American football is a complete mystery to him- He's no good at soccer, but at least he knows the rules. He stows his phone/PKE meter and stands, arms slightly spread, trying to be ready to react.
Aren't there supposed to be goal posts? Or goal lines? Or something?
