In a flash, Grimm takes off after the bolting smugglers, quickly tackling one to the ground as the natives chase the other into the jungle, catching him easily as well.

The men shout loudly as they are being apprehended, restrained, and gathered together again.

“HELP! HELP! MORGAN! SKULLY! WE GOT TROUBLE FROM THE SOUTH!”

With one of the rocks he got, Grimm will try to knock out the pirate, hitting him on the back of the head.
I don't know if that counts as an automatic hit, so I'll roll to hit just in case.

Hit with rock [1d20] = 9

The natives quickly cover the mouth of the struggling smuggler to prevent him from shouting as they drag him back out of the jungle. Grimm tries to bludgeon his opponent with a rock as he continues to shout out loudly. "HELP! HELP! LOU, RICO, YOUNGBLOOD! SOMEONE GET OVER HERE AND HELP US!!!

The smuggler shifts and squirms, trying to get out from under the stout dwarf. He cranes his neck just as the rock barely misses him, falling harmlessly to the side. Then he gets in a lucky punch to Grimm's bulbous nose. 1 dam

The dwarf shakes his head, half-startled, half trying to shake off the pain from his nose. He'll quickly unsheath his belt dagger and point it to the pirate's throat. Looking intensely into his eyes, he says with a menacing voice: "One more movement, or shout, and I cut your throat."

If the pirate complies, he'll shut his mouth with his other hand while trying to trap him with his legs and will ask with simple words one of the natives for a vine to tie him up and one of the sacks to stuff his mouth.

With the help of Powstap and the other 2 natives, Grimm is eventually able to get both of these pirate lookouts bound and gagged.

There is no answer to their calls for help, and none of the people who were called for come running.

"Good! Let's take them deeper into the jungle. Quick!" Grimm will start poking the back of one of the lookouts with the tip of his dagger, hurrying them to get into the jungle. He'll walk into it in the direction of the first native village, and will stop before they come to it, fearing that they'll get to know where it is exactly.

If all goes well and the natives agree to it, he'll try to tie them up to a tree and begin the questioning...

Grimm gets the 2 gagged men to march back into the jungle towards the north, in the direction of the first village on the trail. The natives follow the dwarfs lead, willing to do much more to these bastards than simply tying them up. Even the usually happy and friendly Powstap scowls at the 2 helpless smugglers as they are tied to a tree. One native pokes his javelin into one of the captives necks hard enough to draw blood when Grimm shoos him away to start his inquisition.

There is no sign of any others approaching the area to help.

The next village is still a good distance away, but you are far enough off the trail to talk freely without being heard.

Grimm says to Powstap: "I know you're angry, but we have to know where's Kelief... Can you tell the others to watch for enemies?" he gesticulates exaggeratedly to indicate him to post the two natives looking around them. "If these two won't help us... maybe we can give them to the Protector." he says this in a lower, darker voice, more to himself than to his friend, but letting it being overheard by the pirates, as he stares at them with a somber look... grinning.

Without further ado, he puts his dagger next to one of the pirate's throat and says: "I'm gonna take this sack out of your mouth. If you shout, you die. Understood?" He'll wait for any reaction from the pirate, if he nods, he'll retire the sack from his mouth. If he doesn't, he'll poke him lightly on the ribs with the point of his dagger, but not strong enough to make him bleed.

Powstap looks crossly at Grimm again. "We no spek of Pro Tek Tor!!! Why ya keep do dis?" He seems quite serious.

The natives keep a look out as the questioning begins. The smuggler nods his head as the rag is pulled from his mouth.

"Yer one a them Stoneguts aintcha? Bing told us about you bastards trying to over the island! Let us go!!! We aint done nuthin to you short arse bastards!"

Grimm looks to Powstap with a sorry look in his eyes, avoiding being seen by the pirates (this is not the best moment for them to see him being able to feel pain or pity). He then turns to the pirate and smiles as he hears him saying that the dwarf belongs to the Stoneguts, as if in recognition.

"You see... This island is ours and these natives here are our friends... They help us... Getting things in order around here, you see?" He makes a pause to let that sink in. "But our friends have been telling us that you've been taking some of them away from the island, never to be seen again... And we at the Stoneguts don't like it when our friends are enslaved by others... I hope you get my meaning." He finally adds with a kind of sadistic grin.

The grim dwarf starts walking back and forth, his index finger playing with the tip of his dagger. "Now, we would like to know where did you take one of our friends recently." He stares the lookout directly into the eye. "And you're gonna be a good boy and tell me everything about it. Won't you?" He keeps playing with the dagger, but this time he raises his hands while so doing, so the weapon gets to the level of the dwarf's face.

Grimm hears an audible gulp from the bound smuggler as he threatens him again.

"We are in no position to argue with you, especially if you already have hundreds of your kind on the island. Who is this friend you speak of?"

Grimm

The dwarf walks back and forth, pensive at the pirate's words. When he asks his question, he stops and looks at the pirate again: "It's a native. His name is Kelief. You took him some days ago."

The smuggler replies. ”I have no idea who you’re talking about. We didn’t really get a chance to learn many of their names!”

Powstap slaps his own forehead and runs his hand down his face.

“Kelief not In-din-jin! Him white as chak!”

Grimm looks at Powstap:"I thought he was an indigen." he says in a neutral tone. "How does Kelief look like? You can say it to him." He says to Powstap, pointing at the pirate. "We have more questions afterwards..."

Powstap looks back and forth to each person present.

“Kelief haff yella air,” he points to his head. “Blu ice!” He points to his eyes.

“Him wear light blu robe, da cula a wata! An always smile, like me.”

He looks back to Grimm. “Kelief not one off us! Him looked more like dem!” He points to the pair of pale faced smugglers.

Grimm nods at Powstap, his semblant serious (although he really finds the indigene's accent funny [yeah, that, 'da coola a wata' almost killed me ]). He then looks at the pirate into the eye:"And well? I guess you don't get to kidnap many blond humans around here, do you?"

The smuggler replies again.

"If yer speakin of the young sea priest, the last time I saw him, he was standing on the prow o' the Flash with his arms stretched out in ther breeze like he were flyin."

"That were a couple a days ago now, though."

Grimm gazes at the pirate with a stern look, seemingly growing impatient. "You'll have to elaborate on that. What's the meaning of that attitude from him. What was he doing there and where did you take him?" he stresses his words in the last question.
