Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Gramble heads off with Maag
Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Lerrick and Sir Crestbrook
The cleric wakes up and sees Saracen still slumbering away. Oh dear she says in a hush voice carefully not to wake him up. She collects her stuff, steps over the unconscious paladin. We have to wake you up. She then spots a small cluster of trees and sits with her back against one of the trees and begins to pray. After several hours she stands and makes her way back to the sleeping paladin. She gently touches Sir Crestbrook's forehead and mumbles a prayer. Soothing healing enters the paladin's body.
healing Sir Crestbrook: 1d8: [1d8] = 6
and slowly his eyes begin to open. He blinks several times and then the view of Lerrick comes into focus. He tries to speak but a raspy mumble is all that he can muster. Lerrick smiles: Easy there. Give it a few moments.
After a couple minutes the paladin, with the aide of the cleric manages to sit up.
[Sir Crestbrook] What...what happened?
[Lerrick] You nearly died. If it wasn't for the healing powers of Saracen you would be dead
[Sir Crestbrook] H...how?
[Lerrick] Gramble smashed the amulet. It exploded and nearly killed all of us. Gramble's scribe perished.
The paladin gets to his feet and moves around stretching his stiff muscular frame and then sees his gear next to him. He gathers it up, then turns back to Lerrick.
[Sir Crestbrook] Thank you for healing me Lerrick. Where might I find the others?
[Lerrick] Maag and Gramble went to the tree house. You should thank them too. They carried you most of the way back to the boat.
The paladin takes a deep breath, then exhales, as he assumes a pose with his chest out and his head held high. It is clear to Lerrick that Sir Crestbrook is getting back to his old self
[Sir Crestbrook] I shall go to the tree house and thank them.
He then turns and head in that direction.
Lerrick smiles and shakes her head. She then closes her eyes and mumbles the same prayer she did when she cured the paladin of some of his wounds.
Lerrick heals herself: 1d8: [1d8] = 2

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Back In Beachtown
Freeday, 12th of Goodmonth
Late Afternoon, Sunny, Hot, Humid
Just some recordkeeping here.
Lerrick heals the boisterous paladin so he can go thank the men who brought him back form the brink of death out on the island. He, Maag, and Gramble are currently sitting in the Treehouse tavern. Saracen and Lerrick are sleeping/resting, and the whereabouts of the ranger Alordan is currently unknown.
As always, don't worry about the concept of time while you are in town. If you want to do something, or talk with someone, just do it. Even if it doesn't make sense with the time of day or who is where, it will be much easier to communicate together if your not worried about when the other person(s) are where they are. I hope that makes sense.
Maag 6/12
Sir Crestbrook 6/11
Saracen 26/30 0/4 1st 0/1 2nd
Gramble 1/16
Lerrick 4/11 2/4 1st (next day spell use)
Alordan 2/18

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
This is a hp total after Crestbrook lays hands and Lerrick uses her daily spells for the 13th.
Everyone will receive 2 hit points back for resting comfortably in town, (on the 12th) so those have now been added.
Maag 11/12
Sir Crestbrook 8/11 LoH (13th)
Saracen 31/33 5/5 1st 0/2 2nd (remaining spells on the 13th)
Gramble 8/16
Lerrick 6/11 0/4 1st (spells used up for the 13th)
Alordan 4/18

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Saracen can cast some CLW here for the 13th if he wishes to do so.
If I know our players, and I think I do, it appears that you will likely be waiting one more full day (at least) before heading back out to the island, yes?

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
if Maag is almost completely healed by the time Saracen finds him the next day, he will use that spell on either Crestbrook or on Alordan, given he’s in the worst shape.

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Storm.....did you already post your CLW rolls somewhere?
If so, can you repost them here for me, because I cant find them anymore.

Gramble

And Lerrick

And keep his final spell in case there is an emergency. If nothing happens by the end of the day he will seek out Gramble and cast his final cure light wounds.

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
we should wait another day to go back and find a wizard if we can
and a new scribe
and a new scribe
Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
All the wizards have gone off together. Saracen would like to wait until the 15th if that’s possible.

Those wizards likely aren't coming back.

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
I am going to try to keep everyone on track here with getting back out to the actual adventure again.
You returned on the 12th, then rested and healed on the 13th. (Saracen still has one 1st lvl spell to cast on the 13th if I'm not mistaken)
That brings us to the 14th, where both clerics will have a full contingency of spells again.
Do we want to go back on the 14th? Or continue healing and leave on the 15th instead?
There was also mention of recruiting a mage to bring along........
Daisy might also be looking for a group to join.
Potential list of return characters.
Magg
Gramble
Saracen
Alordan
Lerrick
Sir Crestbrook
Other?
Maag 11/12
Sir Crestbrook 8/11 LoH (13th)
Saracen 31/33 1/5 1st 0/2 2nd (remaining spells on the 13th)
Gramble 12/16
Lerrick 8/11 0/4 1st (spells used up for the 13th)
Alordan 13/18

Re: Quest #21 "Island Hopping"
Saracen would like to continue healing people on the 14th. He has some things to do on the 14th also. Then head out on the 15th if that’s cool with everyone else? By the time we rest and awaken on the 14th nearly everyone will be at full hit points, with some only needing 1. I think we are in over our head and need all our powers at full strength if we are going back to the island.
Before bed on the 13th Saracen will cast his last cure light wounds on Alordan if he is amenable.
[1d8] = 5

Yeah, if it's just a matter of hand waving a day to be at full hp, I'd rather do that.

These aren't the droids you're looking for.
