Thirdmonth, Twentyfourthday
Junction
By the time the adventurers return to town the temple of Sarnis is closed for the day; an acolyte informs the adventurers that should they wish to return in the morning Muelrid will be informed of their requests and should be able to help them. "We cannot identify magical items, but we can determined if they are cursed," she says.
On the way back to the inn the adventurers espy the same dishelved man they had seen a week previous, standing upon a box and shouting at passers-by: "It is as I promised! The Gates have been Opened! Look to the Skies, people, Look to the Skies, for they come! They approach in the Dark, in the Night!"
There is nothing to be seen in the skies.

"It looks to be some sort of magical disease," he says, "I can remove it, for 125 gold. I was told you also have some items that you would like examined for curses. It will require a donation of 30 gold
alcedes for each item, but I can only examine two items this day."
Back at the inn Telemachus spends some more time examining the snake fang armband they took from the corpse of the goblin chief. He is unable to figure out what it does.
