Roy lets out a deep sigh of relief "Hell that was a bit of luck there. But wait what was that Frank Sr. said Harper Brothers? That mean anything to any of you?"

Maybe he is no danger. He helped us. Can we try talking?
Joker hangs his own trap back on his belt, then nods to Etta and Roy, giving them a 'golf clap' for their good work.

Etta checks on Ol Frank, Sr. helping him out from under the desk. "Joker, please help me remove Mr. Frank's... device." she says, indicating the vacuum cleaner strapped to his back.

Nice job, guys! I think we are done here. I'm pretty sure the blue ghost is Old Griff, but he's not harmful. At least, he doesn't seem to be. I think we can let him stay. And who knows, maybe with the evil ghost no longer causing problems, Griff's work is finished and he can move on. If so, we can still bill for ridding the place of two ghosts, right?
Seeing Frank Sr. on the ground, he asks, Is he okay? Does anyone know CPR? After finding Frank appears dead, Lionel will begin chest compressions, although he is untrained and not sure what he is doing so he tries to emulate what he has seen on TV. Somebody call 911!

Lionel sees Frank, Sr. on the ground and tries to BeeGee a MFer sorry, couldn't resist but it seems to have no effect.
Everyone else will here their phones Ping as the PKEs spike again just as a blue vapor forms from out of the wall holding a hammer in a limp grip with a sad look around the room that settles on Frank. It shakes its head and holds its eyes a moment, removing it's hard hat and putting it over his heart a moment. He then looks up at the rest of you before smiling softly at the corpse as a yellowish vapor forms and rises look a Lot like Charlie of all people... Frank's grandson. It looks around confused... then looks at Griff and smiles. There seems to be some form of communication between them and they both smile brightly. They both take a bitter sweet look around the office as Frank's old fashioned suit and Griff's work clothes give way to fishing gear.
Frank looks at Lionel and tilts his head a little looking amused. Then goes to Etta and tries to embrace her and finds himself insubstantial. He appears to laugh and smile as he shrugs and moves away waving to her. Etta will remember destictly the picture of Frank and Griff at the long ago fishing derby. Perhaps the last time they were both truly happy?
Griff looks at the heavy hammer in his hand and then at the group. He holds it out in offering.

Etta, holds out one hand to accept the hammer, while the other flicks on the video recorder function of her phone. "Mister Frank? A last wave for Frank Jr?"
Re: Mission 4: John Henry Tooling Warehouse: Old Griff
Griff relinquishes the Spiritual Hammer to Etta's grasp. looking for a definition of this D&D cleric spell (prayer?) That I like for this, but that is basically what Etta has in her hand at the moment. it has zero weight but you can feel the worn smooth wood in your hand. You have a tingly almost pins and needles sensation in your hand, but not exactly uncomfortable but is unusually cool.Pulpatoon wrote:Etta, holds out one hand to accept the hammer, while the other flicks on the video recorder function of her phone. Realizing that Frank Sr. has given up the ghost, Lionel stops his clumsy attempts to save him. Goodbye, gentlemen. Rest well, you've earned it. Thank you, Griff. Everyone was wrong about you. You've no doubt helped keep many of the workers safe from the green ghost. Thank you.

Re: Mission 4: John Henry Tooling Warehouse: Old Griff
Although a part of her mind is reeling off all the things that need to be done to resolve the fact that a man is dead on the premises, Etta is unable to act on them as she stares in gaping wonder at the strange object in her hand.
"Boys?" She finally manages to say in a quiet, distant voice, "I seem to be holding the ghost of a hammer. What are the cosmological implications of that, don't you wonder?"
Eventually she shakes it off and says with greater animation, "We'll run some tests on back at the firehouse, right?"
Then, remembering the body under the desk, she says, "I'll call the police. Lionel, would you please call Frank Jr.?"

Joker
Joker gapes for a few seconds at the sudden rush of events. He takes refuge in his machines, recording the readings from the ghosts, the hammer, and the room in general. He seems a bit reluctant to actually look at Griff and Frank Sr., but manages a respectful nod to them.

Roy calls 911 and waves a farewell to the ghosts and wonders about that hammer. "I'm calling 911 and I think someone should call Frank Jr." he says while waiting for the operator to answer. Once the operator answers he explains where they are who he is and what the situation is Frank Sr. down appears not to be breathing and has no pulse.

The two reunited spirits wave at the phone and give a last bittersweet look around the office before seeming to dissolve into the eather as the PKEs bottom out. No more activity. There will be a lot of data to go over and archive for future reference and research.
Lionel calls Frank, Jr. He is very quiet. I'm on my way.
Etta and Roy call the police and before the call is over, two petrol cars an EMT Ambulance, and a coroners car arrive on the scene. The medical personnel quickly come inside and confirm Frank, Sr. Is expired. The first officer they see walks up on the scene and looks around then up at the team. Those that were at the coffee house job will recognize officer Hightail. I hope this isn't going to be a regular thing. in his usual neutral tone.
He quickly takes the Ghostbusters into the back office where he and another officer takes statements from each of them. Okay... you have to understand, you are here on private property where the owner of the business has been found dead. For the moment, you are all suspects. That only means that you are the ones who were here when we got here.
I need a reason not to arrest you, but we are also going to have to wait on a cause of death. This is standard stuff.
If you've done nothing wrong, you have nothing to worry about.
Frank, Jr. walks in looking like a mac truck in the doorway. I would mind an explanation myself. he looked calm but ready to explode other than a single tear her was fighting back. His hands were in fists and shaking.
They can see the now covered body of Frank,Sr. Being carted off to the ambulance.

Re: Mission 4: John Henry Tooling Warehouse: Old Griff
Roy relays or verbally replays exactly what happened "I'll let you know I kept trying to reason and talk Frank Sr. down he was gungho in dealing with the ghosts himself using that vacuum was a sight to see for certain. But I think he worked himself up into possibly heart failure. We tried to get him to sit down and calm down. I think the ghost activity was just too much excitement." is Roy's finishing statement. Otherwise he retells the tale exactly as it occured. "No clue what he was thinking shoving that vacuum to my nose. Guess it worked it got me to move."

Re: Mission 4: John Henry Tooling Warehouse: Old Griff
Etta recounts the evening with a librarian's documentary precision. She ends with, "The younger Mr. Frank can confirm that we were supposed to be here and that the place was supposed to be empty. He can also confirm that his father liked to do things his own way, and wasn't likely to heed external council once he had decided what he wanted to do."
Then, to Frank, Jr., she says, "I don't know if this is the time, but we have some footage of your father's... departure. You may find some solace in watching it. He was peaceful in the end. More than that, he was satisfied." If Frank Jr. is interested, she plays the departure of his ghost with Griff.
