OOC
Re: OOC
Proposal:
We have one dead Ranger, one wounded Ranger, and two wounded footmen. Leaves us 36 mercs plus 3 Lieutenants.
Four 2-hour night watch shifts. Three of the four shifts, there will be a Lieutenant on duty with nine mercs. The fourth shift, there's just the nine mercs so we need a PC to help out.
Telemachus would like to skip night watch so he can get a full night's sleep and recover his spent Sleep spell.

Re: OOC
Aldus and Wulka can take a round of watch, too, although we also have all these mercs who can do this sort of duty.
Regarding formatting: I know thirdkingdom prefers grammatical indication of dialog over the use of font color. I'm in the habit of using both. Is this okay? Or do you actively not want us to use font colors (I believe some people have legibility issues with them)?

I find the colored text difficult to read. However, this is not a hill I'm willing to die on. I understand I'm in the minority.Pulpatoon wrote:Aldus and Wulka can take a round of watch, too, although we also have all these mercs who can do this sort of duty.

I'll do my best to remember, but I'm sure I'll slip up now and again!thirdkingdom wrote:I find the colored text difficult to read. However, this is not a hill I'm willing to die on. I understand I'm in the minority.
Re: OOC
It honestly depends on how I see the GM and other players do things. If anything, I would try to color only inner thoughts (not something that Gardo is going to do often) and leave the rest as it.
It's hard to explain puns to kleptomaniacs because they always take things literally.

Re: OOC
If you guys are going to hunt bees let me know how you're going to go about it. The bees seemed to come from the south (i.e. not from the hex you've started to explore).
Re: OOC
Gotcha. Finish up with the subhexes in the hex north of the road. So we would be hitting 0306,0407,0506,0607, & 0706 and above, correct?

Essentially, yes, unless you want to propose a different order, but typically I'm going to assume you sweep back and forth across a hex.VonAlric wrote:Gotcha. Finish up with the subhexes in the hex north of the road. So we would be hitting 0306,0407,0506,0607, & 0706 and above, correct?

I don't think anybody was disagreeing with you. We proposed a course of action, and you proposed a different course of action. Apparently none of us felt strongly about our stated position, so we were happy to go along with yours, should you feel more strongly about it.
Which is not to say that I'm incapable of ooc'ing disagreeing with my character's ic plans.

Re: OOC
The problem is, though, that it's realy difficult for me, as GM, to parse what the intended course of action to be. I *want* you guys to feel strongly about your proposed actions, to *have* an opinion on what you want to do, and to reach a consensus on that course of action, or at least a majority. I *think* you've decided to ignore the bees for now, but am not positive.Pulpatoon wrote:sulldawga wrote:Wait a second. You guys are agreeing with me in OOC and disagreeing in IC.
