OOC II
Re: OOC II
I'm happy just listing some of the basics we'll do and "fast-forwarding" to the end.
Also tk, I'm assuming no mapping bonus for the two cave system?

Re: OOC II
I think I'm going to have to say no to this one. However, plenty of the hooks you guys have coming up will involve dungeon delving.Bouv wrote:Also tk, I'm assuming no mapping bonus for the two cave system?
Re: OOC II
I would like to skip to the feast! Also, Thordin would love to check out the Elvish sword...
Re: OOC II
I would like to skip to the feast too. I'm going to edit my post because I was in a hurry and unsure that I would be able to post again soon.

Re: OOC II
No problem! Also, I used your festival stuff in my home campaign this past weekend and the players loved it!thirdkingdom wrote:I think I'm going to have to say no to this one. Re: OOC II
I'm also in favor of skipping the bureaucratic stuff. We should also think what to do next. Maybe there's time to check the abandoned tower we passed by on the road?
Re: OOC II
Meagnor is very interested in going there. Maybe there's good magical stuff left by the old magician.zebediah wrote:I'm also in favor of skipping the bureaucratic stuff. We should also think what to do next. Maybe there's time to check the abandoned tower we passed by on the road?
Re: OOC II
Hand-waving the recovery, and skipping to the victory feast is fine with me, too.
That was another awesome adventure, TK -- cool on so many levels!
Thanks again for running this campaign!

Re: OOC II
Okay, guys, I'd like to try and get the three questions resolved in the next 24 hours:
1)Who gets the armor?
2)Who gets the sword?
3)What next?
Don't be shy! If you want one of the two items step forward with a cogent argument and it shall be yours. Keep in mind that the chain mail weighs half as much as normal chain!

I think Saul is well equipped at this point so he won't claim anything for himself.
I'd just like to know how much gp we each get for all this.

Thordin the dwarf would like the sword. It is his primary weapon.
Also, Thordin will spend his time practicing to try and move up from Basic to Skilled with the sword.

I did the XP breakdown earlier OOC. GP division is a player responsibility. Part of the treasure you found, of course, is gems.Luis wrote:I think Saul is well equipped at this point so he won't claim anything for himself.

Makofan, let me know if you're still around; I believe Grey Jake should have levelled up as well.
Re: OOC II
Alright. Bregalad was feeling bad about taking the elven sword and armor. But if the elves harbor no regrets to us having them, then.....thirdkingdom wrote:Okay, guys, I'd like to try and get the three questions resolved in the next 24 hours:

1)Who gets the armor? Bregalad is interested in the elven armor (or the armor found in the troll's lair). He would appreciate the reduced encumbrance, but this is more just fulfilling my personal fantasy of playing an elf that wears elven chain! (I think Lanny and maybe the other elves feel the same way.

2)Who gets the sword? Awesome weapon! It makes sense, though, for Thordin to get the sword. It would serve the group best to have him wield it, especially since he is at the front of most battles and will soon be an expert with the sword.
3)What next? If the group hangs out for awhile, Bregalad would love to spend time learning Magic Missile from Lanny. If the group moves on, then he would like to take on the orcs or check out the tower.
Re: OOC II
Meagnor also wants the chain mail. Mobility is very important to him and he is using heavier armor just because he is less experienced than the others and can die in a single blow. But I'm ok with the mail going to anyone because it would be as useful to the others as it would be to him. Everyone will probably get a chance to have a magic armor in the future, so Meagnor can wait for his turn.
He doesn't want the sword because he likes to use the bow and he will join melee only when he can't shoot arrows. The sword would be much more useful in someone else's hands.
Preferences for next adventures: 1-Tower 2-Orcs 3-Fountains.

Re: OOC II
Drudsa also would like to check the tower now, although he wouldn't mind doing any of the other stuff.
Re: OOC II
I went looking for a monster and treasure XP count for the rats, geckos, and troll because I don't remember seeing a breakdown that included Semele.
I see that the monster XP was 920, which makes 19 half-shares of 48.42 each.
I think the treasure was four pieces of jewelry worth 15,000 gp. That would make 19 half-shares of 789.47.
The total for a PC would be 1675.78. But on the Treasure/XP thread, the haul for Thaumont 12 is 1713.62. What am I missing?
Also, do we round up or down with fractions of XP?
