While we wait for Ardak2000's first post, here is my explanation of what happens:
The game shifts into a parallel world where everything is the same except, shaidar's characters never joined you to the dungeon. Ardak's character's have been with you the entire time.

a old discussion i have with lots of friends: a "dart" in most rpgs are like the ones with throw at taverns targets. Some say its like he Olympics sport, a +/- 1 meter long thing. whats a dart in DCC?
