Part three of the survey - should it have walls? If so, made from what material?

These are great Ethan. I think letting these run for a bit and getting soe guidelines can help direct the discussion on what is needed to complete the project, and what we already have that can or can't be used.
Re: Build a town survey - Should it have walls? If so, of wh
I agree. Maybe a few weeks? I set them all up to run with no time limits, so we can shut them off whenever.

I think 2 weeks should be good, not sure how many memebers actually want to be involved but that should be plenty of time.
Re: Build a town survey - Should it have walls? If so, of wh
I think this answer depends on the type of population center being built. If hamlet, none, if village, either none or wood, if large city, then stone, etc.

I think we can close these now.
Looks like a village with 20-39 and wooden palisades.
But we have a tie on forest or rivers edge, I think Tonixx should make the call.

Well... we could always have a village that is at the edge of a forest with a river cutting through it or on the other side of it.

I wasn't exactly sure how to end the polls, so I went back and set the Duration to 1 day. So I guess they'll shut down tomorrow, if they haven't already. I can't tell, because I have already voted on them and so I don't get the vote button anymore.

So, if wooden walls win out barely over no walls... where on that map would walls be build? It seems too spread out to build it around the entire thing, so do we need to draw that in, to see what is within, what is outside of it?
