One of the fighter types can take the potion of growth.

Cil can hold on to the potion of extra healing and have it ready for whoever needs it, if you guys want.

I was just reviewing the character sheets and laughing because of how Mitch and I got our PC's their "Thieves' Guild names" and how Tub was not trusted with any magic items.
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Heh, haven't really reviewed the threads yet. I forget how I played him (though it looks like the start of my dopey names, TBD) though normally I don't play the "steals from the party" kind of thief. I'll have to see. :D

If this is a reference to Skiiratch's pilfering of the holy symbol in the Tombs game... I gave it right back. Look, you can't just HAND someone a 10th level thief, with such a sweet pick pocket stat, and NOT expect him to try it out, can you??

And Till has never stolen anything from the group. Neither has Greystone. Nor Quicksilver.

(Dang... how many thieves do I have??)

Paranoid much!

It's a reference to me, and my character from 2 1/2 years ago... wow! Two-and-a-half years!

;) Nyah, not much. :)

Halflings, thieves, and rangers. That seems to be the bulk of my characters.

Interesting...

I see a bunch of show buttons in posts that seem to link to other posts.

for instance on dave's character sheet under long spear he has a show button that when clicked shows the post I made in tyhe house rule thread about polearms.

Ahh, that's the 'spoiler' tag. Wrap text in it like you would the 'ooc' or 'dialog' tag and it will form that "button." ;)

I noticed earlier that wolfpack wasn't using OOC or Dialog tags, Dave.

Wolfpack, when you are typing a post fora thread, you have a panel above the text box with formatting options you can apply to highlighted text. Greg added them a while back to standardize some things.

If, for example, you want some text to be red because it is OOC text, just highlight the text you want to be red, then click the button marked "OOC" and it will add appropriate tags to your text.

As Dave said, the button he was using was the Spoiler tag, which hides the text unless you click the button.

Makes entering a post easier and makes everyone consistent if they all use the same buttons for dialog and OOC text.

OK, I didn't know about those. I just highlighted my text and clicked a color.

I thought the spoiler tag was some kind of lihnk to posts in other threads.

For anything other than a certain blue or red color, that's what you'll still have to do.

But if you want everyone to use the same red color for OOC text, and the same blue color for Dialog text, then all you have to do is make sure everyone uses the appropriate Dialog and OOC buttons to format that text instead of selecting a color from the Font Colour panel to the right of the text box.

What did he miss? He was in the cave exploration and that was the first adventure.
Sergius only actively participated on the cave exploration. Looking back at the old threads it's not clear if he actually completed his training (probably because I wasn't posting a lot for a couple of months until the time I quit the game) and his char sheet is still level 0. I have actually just added to it an obsidian spear that we got in the first adventure and which apparently I never recorded properly.

I think the easiest approach is to assume that Sergius focused on his training and missed out on the events that followed, and will now join them on the chase for the displacer beast. Does this make sense?

Also wolf, how should I deal with character level & equipment?

Go ahead and move your xp to 0 and level to 1.

Roll HP and add to what you have. Choose your weapon proficiencies. If you put 1 of your wp in spear you will get a +1 to hit with it since that was your 0 level proficiency.

your gear is what you have and what you can buy with the money you have. send me a pm with what you want to buy i will give you the price.

Wolf, are we restarting with the assumption that Sergius was with the group all along or has he just joined the others after their encounter with the goblins?
