Elanriel
With the battle over, Elanriel's wounds catch up with her. Ouch. There's a deep cut in her side through her armour. It hurts but after some investigation she decides she'll live. Damn. From what she could tell, Egon and Urtesi had taken the worst of it but the Orc Lt had tagged her good. Still she didn't want to make a fuss about it. She was as tough as they were, wasn't she? She certainly wasn't about to cry about it. Gingerly she slides down the wall to a sitting position and quietly binds her own wound as best she can before they move on again.

Urtesi
Having barely begun to listen to the halfling's tale, Urtesi hears Xlore calling from the corridor. Turning back, he notices Elanriel sitting, back against the wall. He concludes that the she must be quite a competent and experienced warrior. Calmly sitting there, unfazed by the mutilated orc corpses bleeding dry all over the floor. Surely conserving energy for what must be the next anticipated fight. He almost smiles approvingly, but then a dull ache reminds him of his personal shortcomings in martial skill.
As Xlore finishes searching a corpse, Urtesi says: "I heard the sounds of the scuffle behind me, but didn't notice you get hit as I was quite busy with my own opponents. Can I see... ah, these would take quite a while to heal naturally, I will pray to Angharradh and hope she will aid us with divine healing once more."

ooc: If others are happy with that, Elanriel will take the healing from Delsenora. She's currently on 8 of 16 hp, so I think she's in the worst shape after the healing so far.
The two halves of the Orc Lt were definitely still twitching. I reckon that's your kill

Laying her hand upon Elanriel's wound, Delsenora calls upon the favor of Eilistraee and healing magic flows from her hand into Elanriel's body.

Elanriel
Elanriel isn't used to having anyone look out for her. She is so used to taking care of herself that it is a surprise when Delsenora notices she is injured and calls on Eilistraee's aid to heal her. "Thankth" Elanriel says, meaning it sincerely.

Re: Chapter 1: King's Festival - And so it begins...
Now What?
The group frees the halfling Harribal Flatfeet and asks hims some questions to which he provides answers about not knowing if there are other prisoners and that he was jumped by a group of orcs when hunting rabbits near the farm he works for that is near Stallanford. Then the upstart adventuring party takes the time to recover, rest and heal wounds as best they can. Now trying to decide their next action they search the defeated orcs and the rooms they have cleared. There is conversation about resting in one of the two rooms and blocking off entry to it while resting.
Loot "Recap":
Room 9 "The Barracks"
the orcs in the barracks had on them 30sp, 22ep, and 13gp, in belt pouches. (this included the orcs in the hallway by Xlore)
a small chest (not yet checked)
Room 10 "Orc Lt' Quarters
fine bearskin (looks valuable)
a decanter of good brandy (could be sold or drank)
two glasses (could fetch a good price if sold)
7gp and 5pp found in a belt pouch on the Orc Lt.
a brass key on a chain (like a necklace, found on the Orc Lt.)
a leather collar with a silver pendant (found on the dead giant spider)
a small chest (not yet checked)
Actions?

Weston takes in the condition of the group "I am concerned that we should not tarry too long, we don't know what might befall the hostages. If any need further healing I could spare more spells, although we must be mindful that we may need them later as we have only penetrated a short distance into the lair of our foes, so perhaps one spell of healing, keeping two spells for later. There is also a chance that my Lord Azuth might look unfavourably at me changing a spell I have for one of healing"

But what about Harribal are we going to bring him along? I fear it may be too dangerous to for you to head back on your own."

Harribal Flatfeet chimes in "I'd really just like to return to the farm but I am not sure I'd like to travel back there alone so I might just say here or go with you folks if that is alright. Say has anyone checked those chests? You never know could be some healing potions inside. I've a bad feeling if these orcs were tormenting me with a large spider and making me fight it or become it's meal any other prisoners they might have would be in a similar fate."LtTibbles wrote:Talrand

Assuming that the layout of this area is now known, meaning the only obvious way to explore further would be to return to the intersection near the cave entrance.
Urtesi nods. "We came here to find the priest or at least discover what has happened to him. Let's keep going, although not before we check these strongboxes. And I agree Weston that conserving the magic would be wise."
He addresses the halfling. "I cannot imagine why you would want to stay here. You can come with us I suppose, but you must understand one thing. We're going after more orcs. Sooner or later there will be more fighting."

Harribal Flatfeet puffs his chest out and brandishes his knife "I can fight when push comes to shove." he says then puts away the knife. "If you need any help with the locks I have been known to be nimble with my hands. Picked a lock or two for my boss when he lost the keys to his supply shed."

Weston nods at the halfling
"I have no issue with Mr Flatfeet joining us. Although it would be dangerous it seems no less dangerous than heading on out on your own. We still have that small chest to open, perhaps you could assist us with that?"

Egon
Egon, looks over the halfling. "Have at the chests, we need to see what is in them. Once we have an idea we pack everything up. I will take the key in case it fits something latter." Egon will watch the halfling to make sure he doesn't pilfer anything.

Re: Chapter 1: King's Festival - And so it begins...
Harribal Flatfeet smiles "Alright." he takes the key that was on the Orc Lt. and tries it on the small chest from the room he was held captive in a telltale click noise is heard of the lock unlocking and he opens the chest from room 10. It contains bag with 180sp, a second, smaller bag with 125gp. Otherwise this chest is empty. He then tries the key again on the next chest it does nothing looking upset that the key didn't work again he takes out a lockpick from his pocket and works on the chest lock hearing that same telltale click noise he opens the chest and shows it's contents to the others. The chest from room 9 contains a small casket containing a pair of gold earrings with jade inlays. There is also a small green glass stoppered bottle, which contains a syrupy yellow liquid that smells of primrose. "Well there that was easy enough."
