Egon listens at the door and all is silent doesn't sound like anyone is home in there.

Egon

Egon will check for traps, then try the door. If it is locked he will try to pick it, if not just open it. He will not force it since he is trying to be quite.

Egon finds the door is not locked or trapped. He opens the door and it looks to be a store room. Before him is a small, dark room filled with sacks, barrels, lengths of rope, wood, and the like. There are a few earthenware flagons and glass bottles as well. It looks fairly clean and cared for. There might be some useful equipment here, if you want to search, but this will take time.

Egon

Egon shuts the door. Whispering to the others. "It's a well stocked and cared for store room. We can come back this way and search it when we have time and safety."

Egon will move down the north passage. Whispering as he starts down. "Those in the rear, keep an eye on the west passage so we don't get surprised from the rear."

I think I have the directions correct, assuming we came in the south passage.

Delsenora will pay close attention to her surroundings and use her keen elven senses to listen and maybe find a secret door?

North Passage

The group moves forward taking precautions and being on the alert for anything coming behind them or any direction Delsenora even checks for secret or hidden doors as the move forward but finds there are none. Nothing comes up from behind from either direction. However the group finds as the move through the hallway going north there are sounds that slowly get louder as they move eventually they find the source of where the noise is coming from there is a split in the hallway it goes forward to a door that the sounds of singing, shouting, and jeering are heard coming from the inside through the door. It sounds a lot like sounds from a tavern with rowdy drunks inside. The other direction the hallway goes is to the east. Nothing is seen or heard from the eastern hallway/passage.

Map: Updated I've used the party token to move the group to the split in the hallway.

Delsenora

"Let me peek down the hallway" the dark elf mentions to everyone. "My vision is by far the farthest of any of yours."

OOC: Del's infravision is 120' so she'll see farther than anyone I think.

Egon

After Delsenora checks down the hallway Egon will listen at the door and see if he can determine how many orcs are in there. Whispering to the others. "Do we want to attack? Maybe someone has a spell we could start with?"

Weston whispers back "I have a spell that could render up to 6 unconscious, it has a range of 20', but starts at my hands, so I'd have to be standing in the doorway"

Delsenora returns shortly relaying that the hall way ends in another 70 feet and goes north and south and that there is a door at the end going east from the groups current position. The north and south hallways only go for 20 feet then both end in doors.

Egon listens at the door trying to determine the number of orcs inside. As best as he can tell it is more than 4 but less than 12 orcs from the voices he hears though it is hard to distinguish the guttural orc language from one source to another. His best guess is that are at least 6 in the room possible more but definitely not 12 of them in there.

Delsenora

"I can cast Darkness also. It is a power I have once per day. Maybe I could cast Darkness first? Then once they are startled, cancel it. You can then cast your spell perhaps?",
She whispers back.

"We can really catch them off guard this way I think."

Elanriel

Feeling way out of her depth, Elanriel keeps an eye out at the back while listening to the others planning to attack. Yeah, that's what I'd do, cast Darkness then render them unconscious with some other weird spell. As if! I haven't got a clue, she thought. Come on. Hold it together. You can get through this. Just keep watch and try not to screw anything up.

Egon

Whispering. "Sounds good to me, I will open the door and stand back so you two can cast then once darkness goes down I will charge in."

Weston pauses "Perhaps the best approach would be to cast the darkness spell and wait for whoever stumbles out, I'm not sure my spell will affect enough of them, there sounds like rather a lot. Perhaps Talrand has a more effective spell?"

Talrand could try Sleep. Then maybe you should save color spray?

Talrand's head perks up at mention of his name, his mind had been so focused on what to do if things go wrong. In a hushed whisper he says.

"Oh y-yes I could try to put them to sleep it should prove effective, especially if they're particularly dunderheaded."
