OOC IV
Re: OOC IV
Yet if we don’t win initiative and we flee its likely a quick death anyway
Greys Campaign.
Re: OOC IV
2 of the front 3 were taken out with the sleep spell. So only 1 attack of opportunity on Azor if we flee, right(?) If we are going to run for the pit, now is the time. Personally I vote we do so. If the front person or bear is on the 5' area east of where it opens out, I would think it would be hard to force him (it) into the pit since only one at a time can attack us. Meanwhile, those with missile attacks should have a pretty clear shot at them coming to fight if arrayed around the curve of the ledge.

Others will step forward to take the place of the fallen nightmen. So, if you win initiative, you can flee without an opportunity attack assuming they don't catch you.
Lucas still wants to flee, but he'll do what the group wants to (his player tells me).
We're heading out for a three day backpacking trip and I'll update when we get back!
Cheers

That is SO my Wife!Dandelion awaits the others with more pressing concerns. She is wounded, like many, but her early morning Zumba classes have kept her in enough shape to continue.

Re: OOC IV
How would we go about recruiting a cleric in a crappy little town like Strod, anyway? Or do you mean finding another player to join the game?

You're married to a scarred up, delusional, murderous half-orc?

Re: OOC IV
The latter, mainly. But posting a recruitment notice back in Alleborg might work too. Yenny would have the easiest time pulling a recruit due to her esteem in Veles' church.Zhym wrote:How would we go about recruiting a cleric in a crappy little town like Strod, anyway? My wife is a perfect angel, 100% of the time. Never did anything wrong. Only lapse of judgement ever was falling for me. Have no idea what you are talking about. Nope.

They got the drop on us, and with slow movement rates we wouldn’t have made it.

Re: OOC IV
AB: Do the walls look climbable? Are there any ledges high enough to be out of reach of the enemy that Zo can see?

Hope nothing has happened to AB.

Re: OOC IV
Hey, scottjen. I missed your question from June 7. Sorry about that! The walls are climbable, given that it's a natural cavern formation. But there aren't any ledges. The climb would be a bit overhung, too. Think of it as being in the inside of a steep dome...
Re: OOC IV
AB: Are there any loose rocks of decent size that Zo could lob that would make noise if hit a wall/floor, or possibly do a little damage if hit a nightman?
Re: OOC IV
Is the orc stronghold group still viable? It seems like we've hit a wall, and I'm not sure it's entirely because AleBelly has been busy.
Re: OOC IV
Dandelion is waiting for directions. I tend to play her as a fashionable meat shield rather than a campaign leader.

Re: OOC IV
I think some were waiting on map postings. Not sure. We decided to head down, but I don't think we know who is invisible, for example.
Re: OOC IV
Will be leaving Thursday morning and wont be back until Sunday. Posting will be thin if at all. Family vacation to Oklahoma City. Will try to sneak a few posts in tomorrow before I leave. Please feel free to NPC as needed. Kablamicus will very much continue to be the utility mage for now but is hell bent on discovery and riches... so long as he doesnt have to risk his own neck too much to do it!
