Witty Banter "OOC" stuff
Re: Witty Banter "OOC" stuff
Then it will be a skill that he has hidden or the gods bestow on him when they are in need of a new witch doctor. Would that work as a possibility? Do I remember reading back a while ago that THACo is 19?

If you have 7 HP yes you are THAC0 19Dram wrote:Then it will be a skill that he has hidden or the gods bestow on him when they are in need of a new witch doctor. Would that work as a possibility? Do I remember reading back a while ago that THACo is 19?
A goblin who reaches maximum hit points (7) should be considered as HD 1, improving to THACO 19 and gaining +1 to each ability score.

Are we doing the +1 to all stats, too? Or just THAC0 19?

Re: Witty Banter "OOC" stuff
For now since we are just barely starting just the THACO 19 part. If you all survive some battles then we can change ranks and upp stats by 1 for 7 or more HPRusty Tincanne wrote:Are we doing the +1 to all stats, too? Or just THAC0 19?

Re: Witty Banter "OOC" stuff
Alright FYI Zeromancer backout "bowed out" stating the more he reads about the reverse dungeon the more he is repelled by it. Long of the short is it's not the gaming experience he wanted. So at this point since he is out and his friend hasn't posted anything both have been removed from the game and we are back down to very few players again....
I can still start the game when those of you that are staying are ready. However i am on the road today for work and will not likely be able to post anything until later this afternoon/evening. So please let me know what you guys would like to do.
So long as nobody else bows out of the game we have 4 players and I am willing to run with that.

I appreciate it, I just don't want to push forward if someone else decides this is not what they thought. I'm here for the different experience to have fun so long as we all have the same plan I'm a happy DM

Re: Witty Banter "OOC" stuff
How are you guys making out with the traps? You fellas think we are good to move to the next role-play scene?

I'm still in, although I haven't had as much time as I'd have liked to have a proper think about traps.

Re: Witty Banter "OOC" stuff
That's ok shaidar. That's why I put that trap coordination forum up for you guys. The next IC part isn't going to need the traps to be 100% anyway it's more leading up to the invasion actions. So I can post that part up today and next week we can dive into the nitty gritty adventurer invasion

Re: Witty Banter "OOC" stuff
We had a bunch of ideas thrown around, some dependent on raiding the town for supplies.

Re: Witty Banter "OOC" stuff
I believe one of the area descriptions stated it had all sorts of supplies from raiding. Ok yes Area 11: Shelf a coil of rope (60 feet), a pot containing the equivalent of three vials of flammable oil, and a number of empty barrels and crates stolen over the years. Plus the Mogur keeps all the tribes treasure pretty much sort of... in his quarters under his "bed".
Short answer is Yes. It will spur the adventurers to strike back.Rusty Tincanne wrote:Any chance that we were allowed to send a raiding party to the town after the first meeting?

Re: Witty Banter "OOC" stuff
oops, I've just reread Affect Normal Fires and it does increase illumination but doesn't make it hotter, i.e. no extra damage.
oh well, Upchuck must has misunderstood the spell.
Upchuck will have to go raiding, with his cousins as bodyguards.
GreywolfVT, Are you happy for me to update my spell list for the raid?

Re: Witty Banter "OOC" stuff
Alright I suppose one you guys are all set with which goblins are going raiding with the ones staying back to help sure up defenses and work on traps I will jump ahead to the raiding party scenario (not actually in the book/pdf) and see how that all fairs.
