Thanks you'd think I had a major medical issue with my immune system. I've just been around too many kids lately I think who knows.

Yeah, I live with three kids who regularly bring sickness home from school, and I teach college too, so my immunities are on high alert all the time, ha ha. Last week it was the student who hadn't been to class for two weeks: "They thought I might have meningitis, but turned out I didn't..." Then he proceeds to cough every ten seconds for the half hour he stays in class...

I say we rest for one day, otherwise Kunno will remain at the village. The poor kid is down to 1 HP.

GM, how much damage do the spears do, are there enough to arm all of us and can we use them normally?

Yeah, makes good game sense to rest a night. In role playing terms, though, my characters are likely to think that leaving the kid behind is a good idea. But yeah, let's rest a night.

What time of day is it? Should we set up a watch at some strategic point where a foray from the keep can be spotted? Or sounds like maybe we're just going to skip ahead...?

Forgot to mention this was my anniversary weekend and I would be inaccessible.

The Spears are normal 1d8 spears that all can use they are just of poor quality and are all wooden. You can all rest in the adventurers guild it's late afternoon pushing towards dusk.

Just for your information The keep can be seen from the village but it's up on a hill so your vision is limited. To see the front of the keep you'd have to be out on the road.

It doesn't matter though as your rest is uneventful.

Happy birthday esteemed GM.

I think if I roleplay my victi...er characters properly I may be throwing a wrench into the party plans/formation.

Eldarial wouldn't be going with rest of us. She has to bury her brother and lay his spirit to rest.

And Goratrix probably won't want Kunno to accompany the party back as long as the kid is wounded.

Do other players wish to have a vote on this? I can "can" the RP-ing and the whole merry gang (or what's left of it anyway) can brave the ruins again in full numbers, if you wish.

I'm cool either way, Vargr. I toyed with the idea of having one of my characters stay behind if the vote was to go back up same day, but seems like the night has passed without trouble, so my guys are going to march up the hill... 8-)

That's fine and if in character any characters wouldn't continue on that's fine as well there are recently saved people that the adventure suggests can be supplemented to resupply depleted character reserves if needed. I encourage RP no matter if it throws a wrench I have to jimmy with.

Hey Rag,

See if you can modify anything on your character thread now. If now are you able to add your own thread and copy the information? I can always contact Tonixx to see what i need to do to tweak permissions so you can edit things on your own.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking straight. I can just copy and paste each character into a new reply to the thread -- should be no problem!

EDIT: OK, it's done. Maybe you can delete Slighted's old posts to keep from confusion? Otherwise, I'm set!

That's funny we overlapped. Okay Slighted's posts should be gone other than poor boog who is remembered on your character thread and in the RIP thread in gruesome detail.

Hey all. I'm guessing everyone has copies of the rules, but just in case see this thread: viewtopic.php?f=40&t=1270
Be well!
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

Thanks Rredmond. I know there are some tweaks and changes in regards to the rules since the beta but for those who don't have them that is a very nice start. Thanks again sir.
