Can I just say something? Lizard men = cool. Eyepatches = cool. Lizard men with eyepatches? Very cool. Is there a to hit penalty for having one eye...? If so, to my mind, this is the only drawback.

Yes it will certainly give him a rakish charm. I can certainly see the roleplaying possibilities.
I m thinking, if he makes it that far, we will have to keep him away from ships at a port otherwise before you know it he will have a cutlass, ear ring and stripy t-shirt and he will be away to sea!

Well, he is an amphibian creature. That's got to count for something in a pirate career.

I wonder what is the reptilian equivalent of a parrot?

parrot ~ gecko :?:

Way to roll with the punches, saalaria! I notice that some people think DnD is making up a character and playing that character as initially imagined, and they get disappointed when exactly the types of things they imagined the character doing don't happen in the game. But really, this is the good stuff, seeing what happens to a character and reimagining as the game progresses how that character will adjust to new circumstances. All this enlarges the character, makes for glittering little facets. Makes even a skirmish with crows a really interesting event! :D

Once a kid, always a kid. I'm the one who gets disappointed when my kids don't want to play our weekly game... :o  :P

I am having serious issues with my PC. I had to create new Admin user accounts and I can't access the material which was on my previous user folder, including the PDF of UK5 and my pics and music MP3s.

Hopefully I will have it sorted before the end of the weekend.

Meanwhile, if someone knows how to remove Internet Explorer from Windows Vista I would appreciate being shared that information. Not deactivate, not set another program as the standard web browser, but removing the damn thing altogether from the disk: shred, delete, exterminate.

Ugh, that sucks, Vargr.

Never really thought about uninstalling internet explorer. That's rather hard-wired into a PC, isn't it? My final solution to Microsoft's constantly failing operating system was to switch to a Mac. If I had all the hours back that I've wasted just trying to keep windows machines operable, recovering data, installing and reinstalling software, etc... never again!

(apologies to any Microsoft fanboys out there... )

I was wondering if there was a door or if this was a one-chamber fortress. Odd place, anyway...

Greetings, Malone's new player! Not a scratch on him; we kept him safe for you!

Thanks much... I may be a little quiet the first hour or two as I get in the groove... He sounds like a decent chap, though.
Can someone give me the 30 second cliff notes version of where we are, dangers we have seen/avoided, etc.?

Onlyme, a familiar face! Well, something like that. Welcome again!

Cliff's Notes: We're not really sure where in Greyhawk we've landed, all of us having been spirited away by different means, such as giant birds or random inexplicable teleportations. Except for Swilbosh, who used to live in the lake area we just left before climbing the possibly dwarven stairs cut into the mountain. After some wandering around, descending mountains and walking through valleys and over plains, Swilbosh showed us the stairs which led to a tunnel that got us through the mountain, and then we found this nifty little keep looking out over the next valley. Some crow-raven-things nesting in the top of the keep harried us (check out poor Swilbosh), but we chased them off and have entered the keep just for kicks and to see how many of us can get skewered in pit traps with nice little spears to fall on. There's another tunnel back outside that seems like it will lead us down this side of the mountain, but who knows?

I think that's most everything. Did I leave anything out, friends and allies? Oh, Stonjuz the dwarf carries a turtle around on his head. You get used to it...

Folks have got to pay more attention to GM descriptions. Maps will not always be available:

When it clears the companions see a windowless 30 x 30 feet square room (...) Peering from the open entrance the adventurers see another door near the SW corner of the room.
