AAAAAAAA!!! Here comes Hyde! Certain enough time has lapsed for the initial volley of spells to be cast, the hairy Half-Orc barrels in and begins swinging at anything that isn't his.

Tempus will look out behind the group in case there are other ways for the crow men to flank attack us, scimitar ready. He will also try and calm Clarence down about the fire

It is chaos as the battle rages. Arnulf, wincing in pain, ducks back into Chronia's room. The bowmen trade shots. Rufus grazes a caster - it's enough to break his concentration. The crowman bellows in frustration:
"Subdue that elf half-breed!"
A crowman archer, proving himself quite capable, unleashes a missile at Galan, penetrating the gnome's robe!
Bowman target [1d2] = 1 1 Galan 2 Arnulf
Crow-bow-man targets Galan [1d20] = 13 crit [1d100] = 50 dmg [1d6] = 2 -2 hp damage!
Galan charges forward, slashing his short sword at the other caster but - smarting from his wound - his blade fails to find target.
Dandelion and Hyde have seen enough. They draw blade and trident, and make to rush into the room. Hyde goes first. He exchanges places with the retreating Chet, and plunges his blade into a stunned crowman. It squawks in pain, but does not fall.
The flaming crowman, bathed in Yenny's Greek fire, charges Yenny. Otherworldly screams of pain accompany a stab of a short sword. Perhaps fueled by rage and adrenaline, the crowman pierces Yenny's metal armor, drawing a stream of blood.
Flaming crow charge Yenny [1d20+2] = 20+2 = 22 crit [1d100] = 57 dmg [1d6] = 5
-5 hp!
The gnomish servant of Veles isn't terribly harmed by this blow, but it does disrupt her toss of an object she pulls from her pouch.

Yenny's throw is too short!
Suddenly, the room is cast into darkness!!! Tempus, Rufus, Arnulf and Dandelion remain outside in Chronia's room. Dandelion, realizing she'll not know who to attack, does not enter the murky blackness.
Those already in melee can continue to attack, but those outside will choose a target at random (friend or foe) if they wish to join.
The screams from Yenny's flaming assailant stop. A slump to the floor is heard. It must be dead.
Angus has quickly mastered his new blade. With a fearsome strike, he fells his opponent. Sagthistle is heard grunting as her sword strikes the ground in a series of attacks.
Sagthistle feels a blade whizz by her ear.
"Black Mullein, you damn fool, was that you?" yells one of the crowmen in their distinctive accent.
The chanting of a spellcaster in the dark terminates...and...

Hyde feels himself engulfed by a sticky mess!
Hyde, please give a save versus spells with your next action.

Hearing her assailant fall, Yenny attempts to back out of the darkness, heading for the door. If she gets to Chet, she casts CLW.

Chet backs up and allows Yenny to heal him in the brightness of Chronia's room.

Dandelion looks bewildered. She remembers from a few days ago how fighting in such conditions is chaotic and deadly. She must wait, ready to pounce if given the chance.

There hear Galan groan as the unmistakable sound of blade into flesh is heard.

Hyde grunts in frustration. Then, thick snaps are heard around him. Hyde:
Meanwhile, outside the room (Dandelion, Chet, Yenny, Tempus):
Chet lights a torch and prepares to re-enter the darkness; he is disappointed to see that his torchlight stops at the edge of the darkness, affecting it not one bit.

"Does anyone have an item enchanted with continual light or a light spell to counteract the darkness? the Druid asks frantically.

Hyde feels like he's walked into a closet filled with cobwebs, very strong, sticky cobwebs. He peels them off his face and utters his AAA! and continues trying to free his eyes, tho he can feel no more webs there. He begins ripping the rest of himself free. Arnulf, is this your doing, hah? We didn't talk about modifying the "Snooze Missile," no. Where is everybody?

Tempus calls for light in response to Galan's cries of pain. Yenny steps forth, and with a perfect throw, launches a stone that lands inches from the other she threw. Light returns to the room!
Chet reacts quickly, raising his crossbow and firing at the bowman in the back corner of the room. The bolt crunches off the wall behind the crowman. The crowman returns fire at the monk but his shot is equally ineffective.
Hyde struggles to free himself from the sticky strands. The half-orc succeeds, but noodles of web are stuck everywhere. A crowman flashes a blade but it is repelled by Hyde's armor. In a display of half-orc solidarity, Dandelion rushes forward and skewers Hyde's assailant with a powerful thrust of her trident. The feet of the robed figure leave the ground - such is the force of the strike - and when his body hits the ground it is bereft of life. Sagthistle tries to add to the damage, but her terrible luck continues. She is not impressing her new companions with her swordswomanship.
Galan, in a very bad state indeed, looks to retreat. It's Angus to the rescue. The righteous blow of the ranger separates a crowman's ear from his head!

Leddilir also cleaves the strap securing the mask to the crowman's face. It falls to the floor and reveals a man's face, twisted with rage and pain. He swings at Angus with his short sword but in his agitated state nearly stabs himself instead. The crowman appears moderately wounded.
This series of events enables Galan to retreat to safety where he can possibly tend to his wounds.
A casting crowman finishes an incantation, and an identical image materializes immediately next to him!
Rufus fires off a bow shot, but it misses badly.
The crowman blinded by Galan's rainbow spray stops wailing and looks towards the party. He draws a knife. "Fuckers!" he yells, preparing to enter the fray.
Four crowmen lie dead. Seven (or at least six with an additional image) remain.
"The tides turn, my flock! They run scared!" cries the bowman from the corner.

Tempus if he can, readies his sling and moves to the entrance and peeps around the corner. He will call to the powers of nature to charm the bowman in the bottom left hand corner.
"Please, don't not attack my friends and I anymore! Come to me my friend!" he calls, hoping to enaorcel the man and gain some information once the bloody battle is through.
