The halfling points toward the room from which he had been chased by the skeletons.
"Looked ta be more bags 'o gold and other treasures in thar. Some of them skelet'ns was wearin' silver 'round theys bony necks too. I wonders if these three be the only ones ta come back ta life? Maybe we should wait for the smoke ta clear and take another scout?"
Can they see past the flames intot eh second room to see if more skeletons had animated?

All seven had animated - four burned to blacked cracked bony lumps within the room.

Milner takes up a defensive position between the opened treasure room door and the cowering undead. He calls over his shoulder, "Grab that loot quick! I'll cover you lads. But maybe next time you'll cut me in a share."
Re- attacking, I reckoned I'd get rolls out of the way just in case... Milner will attack any undead that venture near the opened door, standing just past the doorway.

HP wil venture into the room, look around for anything like a book that might have survived the flames first. Then look for coins and jewelry.

The room is still a bit warm and close, with oily smoke clinging around the walls and ceiling. The searchers who go into this area find their eyes watering and their lungs rebelling. Roll a DC 10 Fort save; failure costs a temporary point of Strength or Stamina damage (your choice) that clears after 10 minutes in a less smoky environment than this crypt, or the bricked-up corridor.

HP rolls a 5 + 2 = 7, and takes a point of strength loss temporarily from coughing and hacking.

Jonas [1d20+2] = 19+2 = 21
Willem will take a point of temporary stamina loss. Coughing and wheezing, he scans the room for treasure through blood shot and teary eyes.
Jonas mutters something about it not being as bad as cleaning the main fireplace flue in the old manor before looking for treasure.

There is a scattering or coins on the floor, amid the charred remains of the bags that once held them. One of the lumpy masses of burn bones still sports a necklace of silvery coloured metal. You can see shards where glass burst due to the contents being heated....and there is a clay tablet that seems to have survived the fire. There appears to be writing on it.

HP arches an eyebrow, then uses an unlit torch to scoop it into his backpack. "Why not?" he asks Daryll.
"It's cursed. It'll make yer brains slides out yer ears. You wanna feel like a droolin idiot?"
HP smirks. "Hmm. How ... interesting..."
HP will also help the others gather up the coins and the silvery necklace. What've we got?
Also, do we need to roll for Gunnar / Milner taking on the turned undead at the end of the hallway?

Of course you do! In fact, while the room is being searched, let us examine what occurs at the end of the hallway. Gunnar attacks defensively. To hit: 5 + 2 (deed) + 2 = 9. If that hits the cowering skeleton things, then damage is 7 + 2 + 2 = 11. He'll bash with his shield, to hit: 3 + 2 + 2 = 7, damage: 3 + 2 + 2 = 7.

At the end of the hallway, one skeleton is smashed - it also had on a necklace of silvery metal.
Roll for initiative with the other two: The remaining skeletons are moving pretty slowly (4)!
