Castle Amber: an invitation to adventure...D&D 1st ed.

I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.

Castle Amber: an invitation to adventure...D&D 1st ed.

#1 Post by Spearmint »

Hi folks,

Well I was digging out my attic and more than stumbled across some old D&D modules, classics which deserve to see the light of day and the rolling of dice once more.

So this one, Chateau d'Amberville, is a giant linear adventure set in a 'renaisaance' era with plenty of tricks, traps and monsters to boot.

I am looking at a new year start and hope to recruit 5-10 adventurers of levels 3-5,

Interested?

A: Heck yes I am interested. However I don't want to take a spot away from anyone that is in fewer games than I that expresses interest. :)

I second GW's sentiment, exactly.
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Perhaps my modesty was misleading I'm a definite just was not trying to be selfish in taking a spot for someone that was in no games that might be interested or even someone in just a couple games looking for a third.

If need be forget "wait listing me" just call me all in Spearmint. :)

Okay, everyone is in, when free I will approach admin.

Get thinking of character classes and races, all permitted. I will start folks at around 28,002 xp (even 14,001 xp for dual classed players. By the book 1st edition, full HP for 1st level, roll for HP/level after that. I will parachute in a Christmas goodie back of magic items from Santa's sack for everyone too.

In line of classes and Races would that also cover anything in the UA book Spearmint?
