I have prepared some comparable tricks Xale, though I wonder what kind of traps one might come across in such a place.

The druid beckons his follower and wolf to follow him and looks at the tunnel uncovered by Fosco.

OOC: is Zoster's spell still in effect?
Yes for about another 18 minutes. You detect nothing when you look in through the hole.

The others gather as Malvexa joins Fosco in the hall.

"Carefull there Malvexa" . Fosco's voice ring cold and in whispers coming from the darkness." I have not searched for traps not more than a few feet from where you now stand."

Fosco leaves the shadows after Malvexa makes it down. He takes his good-old-time and looks for traps along the walls and floor around the area before the great doors.

"If you want you can call down for the others to join us."

Fosco you march off toward the south end of the hall. You arrive safely and begin your search for traps along the floor and walls in the area before the doors. It is slow progress working in dim light, but you make a very thorough inspection of the 10x10 ft area to the east while the others decide what they are doing. You're very confident that there are no traps near the eastern door.

Each block is 10'?

After seaching this 10 x 10 area Fosco heads west and searches the area infront of the other door. He wants to make sure that the entire area, from entrence to doors, is safe from traps.

Each square is 10' correct.
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

There seeming to be little interest in a closer look at the abandoned camp, Worren moves up with his other companions that have located the doors. He has Edgar continue to fly overhead to alert them of any movement in the surrounding area, and casts Stoneskin on himself.

Mason makes his way through the hole in the wall. He takes a moment to allow his eyes to adjust before looking around. He looks at the wall through which he'd come looking for any man made sign. Worked stone, or brick and mortar. Why did it fail?

Eventually he starts for the bottom of the hill, doing his own checks along the way. "Anything interesting, Fosco?" He continues over to the wall on his left and begins to inspect it as he moves along.

"Careful Mason."Fosco looks his way. "So far no traps have been spotted. But I have not even begun to inspect these large doors. I am sure they hold many evil surprises for us." Fosco than lowers his head. He than continues to search the entire area for traps with the hopes of securing a safe footing for his fellow adventures when they all come down.

OOC: It's not a wall. It's a massive pile of sand and gravel blocking the entrance to a 20x20x30 ft hall. Fosco dug a hole near the top of the pile, near the ceiling of the corridor. The black areas indicate where the sand reaches the ceiling. Th brown blob shows the footprint of the pile.

Mason slides down the pile of sand to join the others. As he moves along the wall his inspection reveals plain and simple stone work so far. Nothing note worthy is found.

Fosco moves to the west side near the doors and gives it a thorough search. When he is finished, he's confident that there are no traps on the floors or walls in the whole 10x20 area near the doors.

Malibran examines the huge pile of sand and gravel through which Fosco has tunnelled, as well as the area on the ground which indicates the area the sand usually covers.

"Wariness should be our watchword," the cleric says. "Let's not forget the warning from the snake about the sand always recovering the entrace. It would be cogent to have a plan in case our means of egress are blocked, especially if we need to quit this place with alacrity."

Mason joins Fosco at the door, doing a simple visual inspection.

OOC: are there handles and hinges visible? Do the open in or out?

Halbrad pops into the corridor to check on the proceedings...from a (presumably) safe distance.
