Can't make it to Peterborough, but sounds like fun. I suppose I should change my location in my profile. We've moved out of the big smoke and into the country.

Strange I am also off to Peterborough tomorrow for the opening of a friend's new warehouse and gaming room. He runs Otherworld Miniatures here in the UK and we are doing a day session old school classic, Beyond the Crystal Cave....who remembers that one!

drpete, I see the rule about living it up and carousing, earning XP for the current character. Are you also using the reserve XP idea, or is this in place of?

In Adamas, you can live it up/spend your money on stuff for rp purposes (stuff that would earn you reserve xp) and get BOTH reserve xp and xp for your next character.

Innnnteresting... Torgyr is certainly entertaining the idea of blowing off steam in some way.

What about charitable donations, does that also count?

Sure... let's say any expense with no practical benefit if it is legitimate for your character, and entangles you with the game world... tithing, researching stuff out of curiosity, living beyond what is expected for your level, gambling, throwing parties, even looking for love, or searching for adventure. Maybe not just writing it off as generically "given away". Something interesting and character appropriate, shall we say?

Sounds awesome. It's a great way to add flavour and perhaps open up new RP possibilities. Love it.

Do we want to give the spellbook to U-Tar? He could stay at the camp and study the spells while we are in Adamas.

Membership has its privileges. Make him study at the tavern that the Mage whose name escapes me at the moment.

Well, I was thinking he could pull double duty and manage the camp as well.

when we return, do we expect the building to be up and running at the tower base? So the mercs' should be using that for security.

As for living it up in Adamas, Quinns' priority will be to sort out his leg. I guess following Solaine if she doesn't mind will lead him to the right place for that to be enabled. Then he will visit any Adamas 'tin can alley' and do some practice shooting with these new-fangled musket and arquebus weapons. maybe book a session for the team to try out the 'paint balling section' and some live target practice on each other, that would be fun.
