The Goblin King shakes his head, making a displeased, chuffing noise. The hound at his side lifts his head and sits upright, now watching Foxy. Smoke curls from its nostrils. The Goblin King holds up both hands to Foxy. "The fingers promised is ten; six is not ten, murderer, bounty hunter, crimson brigand."

Mr. Farrow panics. He steps forward, holding up the pouch. "Nine. We have all nine. Not ten. We honor this deal, we take both children," he says, voice strident, a tinge of fear.

The Goblin King makes a chk, chk noise, motioning to the guards to approach you and the pouch.

Foxy O'Hare

She knew she might have pushed the bargain but 'if you aim for the stars you might still hit the moon'. She covers a little grin as she bows taking her hat off. If we get the girls and get out, it is a good trade. She hesitates to ask about Zhint and his fingers and can only speculate they will enhance the kings grip of power.

"The king has his bargain then. The trade is good, we are agreed to take these sparrows and your raiders will stay clear of their nest. May the knuckles of Zhint strengthen the hand who wields the sceptre and may his fingers grasp the kings enemies by the throat." Foxy tries a little goblinoid blessing to pacify any royal frustration.

She steps back to allow the guard to take the pouch from Mr Farrow. "Put the girls on the horses, I would keep them hooded as we pass the bonfires, unripened little girls should not gaze on the gloaming festivities."

Foxy will turn to leave if the audience with the king is over. She expects his hospitality to not extend much further but he will be honourable enough to allow them to leave the camp unmolested.

The guards take the pouch, looking over each of the humans with both contempt and appraisal. They return the pouch to the King, speaking to each other for a short while in goblin. The Goblin King finally looks in the pouch, poking the contents with a stubby finger, and then smiles broadly at Foxy. "I have bones and you have children." He motions dramatically for the crates to be opened, then again shakes his face with a chuffing noise, as if to seal the bargain.

The two pre-teen girls stumble forth, falling and getting up on wobbly legs. Their hands are bound and they have burlap grain sacks which bear southern kingdom writing on them worn over their heads. Five of the guards around you prod them forward to you, then without pausing for any reuniting, continue to prod you towards the chamber's exit to the long hallway. The Goblin King waves cheerfully, a bit to accepting of this deal, perhaps.

You proceed up the hallway. After a few minutes of walking, the squared stone halls begin to blend together. You are unsure how far you are from the Goblin King behind, and have no inkling of the open air yet ahead of you. Two goblins lead ahead, barking at you in short goblinoid phrases to urge you onward, looking at each other anxiously as you go. Three goblins walk behind, poking Mr. Farrow and George with their spears from time to time to urge them onward, even though the goblins struggle to keep pace with the human's pace. Foxy walks at the front, Mr. Farrow and George have ushered the girls in to the middle to protect them, whispering to them to help them be brave and reassure them of their rescue and not further reasons to fear.

The two goblins at the front continue to confer, then abruptly stop, turning their spears on Foxy. Foxy's scimitar leaps to her hand, suspecting a deceipt. Likewise, George and Mr. Farrow turn on the goblins behind them as they sense the change in their pace, preventing any surprise. the goblins bark orders at you in their language which you don't understand. It is clear the goblins intend to take you down.

(Actions and initiative.)

Foxy O'Hare

Scimitar out, held in an 'en garde' position, ( not sure if you can go into a full defensive position to use her Dex bonus to boost her AC instead of attacking.)

Foxy reaches into a pouch and pulls out the blood and flesh stained skeletal hand which she cut off from one of the Red Robes."The last person who laid a hand on me withered and died screaming for mummy. If you would like the maids to mop your flesh from these halls and put you as meat slop for the wolves try to attack, otherwise see us to our horses."

She dangles the skeletal remains in front of her, stroking its' bony fingers over her body finishing with a rub on her crotch. "Beware boys, that bit is going to fall off first." she says in mock devilish laugh.

Foxy

[1d6] = 3

Foxy melee: Scimitar:[1d20] = 12damage:[1d8] = 1 aimed at the genitals of the goblin attacking or threatening her...

can she not go ' full defensive' instead of having to attack as her action?

She already has a Dex bonus to her AC which applies normally. What you're referring to is the "Parrying" rule, which is an optional rule in the Lab Lord Advanced book (p. 142). It allows you to forgo your attack and apply your STR bonus to your AC as well as the DEX bonus you already have. I haven't adopted that rule here as yet, but you don't have a STR bonus so that's moot. So, you get to try to hit them. Special results, like your desire for neutering, are possible on a natural 20.

The goblins are as wary as the humans, but know they face two bound children, a woman, and two unarmed men. They have their orders and push to attack. Foxy takes an en guarde position and is ready for a riposte against her two foes. The first goblin lunges at her, a foolhardy move and directly into Foxy's waiting blade. With a deep slash in his side, he cries out and slides to the floor. The other goblin takes advantage, thrusting his spear into Foxy's unprotected flank, the tip passing through the ribs on her side. With a gasp for air, Foxy blacks out, falling unconscious from the pain and trauma of this on top of her other recently-bound wounds.

Mr. Farrow and George stand bravely, unarmed, against the three goblins, ready to lay down their lives for the bound and hooded children they now protect. A goblin thrusts at Mr. Farrow, puncturing his gut the whole way through and emerging from his back, a grievous wound. Standing before his daughter, Mr. Farrow bears down on the spearshaft and kicks the goblin backwards with a fierce boot to the face. George, the largest farmhand, lets out a roar of anger and frustration that startles the goblins. Two goblins come at him. George reaches out and grabs the spearhead with his bare hand, accepting the minor cuts to his fingers as he rips it from the grip of the goblin and turns it on them instead, rage in his face.

The goblins break and flee in the face of this display, running headlong down the hallways behind and to the side, no longer willing to risk their own lives in the face of the farmers. George cuts the ropes on the girls' wrists and unhoods them, then stands guard over the small group. Mr. Farrow pulls the spear from his own side, staunching the blood with one arm while he drops to his knees and throws the other arm around the small girl who suddenly can see him. He grips her tight as she buries her face in red robes, clinging together like two lost halves made whole. "I'll always get you, bluebird. Always," he murmurs haltingly into her hair. He pulls the other girl in close, then George, too, hugging in the dark cold of the hewn-stone hallway far below the earth.

Mr. Farrow takes charge, stabilizes Foxy's wound and staunching his own, then takes the removed spear and wields it. The two farmers - with spears in hand and Foxy over Mr. Farrow's shoulder - lead the children out of the cave and into the courtyard.

The goblins stand bickering over who should be first to touch the cages and skulls, but melt away when they see the angry humans emerging. Foxy is slung over one horse, the girls ride on another, Mr. Farrow leading the group by riding on the third. George walks, guarding with his spear, happy to vent himself on any goblin who dares not give way. They use the horses' bulk to part the crowd outside, rejoining Clay and Gus once beyond the goblins. The girls weep on the horse in relief, trauma, and horror all mixed together. Once down the hillside from the goblins they pause, again staunching Foxy's bloodflow. She clearly is taking further injury from being moved in this condition and remains unconscious. You are nary a bowshot from the Goblin Camp with decisions to make.

We pause here for Clay's return. Foxy takes 1d2 damage and needs to be restabilized for every turn she is moved in unsafe fashion.

Clay Weatherwax
Unable to access the entryway due to the fornicating goblins, Clay and Gus spent their time wondering if they would see the trio again. Clay tried to amuse himself watching the revelry, but the screams of Balex echoed in his head. He wasn't sure the liquid had had any effect on him.

Clay heard Gus sigh and turned to see Mr. Farrow and the girls emerge from the darkness. Clay remained silent as the farmer whooped next to him and was, therefore, the first to notice the prone form of Ms. O'Hare across the back of the horse. Not good, Gus. They rejoined the procession and hurried out of the goblin encampment, Clay catching the details from Mr. Farrow. If we are lucky, those that fled learned that revealing your escape would likely land them on the pyre. But I will not gamble our lives on that. We need to flee quickly and the horses and Ms. O'Hare will only slow us down. Clay was soon looking at the horrified faces of the farmers who clearly cared more for one human than themselves. Clay shrugged and accepted that they would all live or die together because of this woman's impetuousness. He pulled forth his former-mentor's dowsing crystal, concentrating on safety.

Clay led the misfits a short way through the woods and into a creek. Humans, equines and the dog waded for close to ten minutes before heading up a narrow gorge. It smelled foul due to the skunk cabbage, but he hoped it would mask their scents. He wasted no time in telling everyone to settle in for the night, making Ms. O'Hare as comfortable and warm as possible by having the men and children lay next to her. He meditated on the nature of the world - cruel but fair.

Dowsing roll was made in my private forum. All the above was okayed by Marullus, though he should embellish as needed. Stirling, please feel free to add in OOC thoughts as they arise. Or IC moaning. ;)

Overlapping Watches: Gus and George, Gus and Mr. Farrow, Mr. Farrow and Gus. Clay filling in once he has rested 8 hours.
Morr will be on duty through the night as well.
Maurice will be sent out to keep watch and alert us if any goblins approach.

Bedding will be shared and those on watch will cover up with the wolf pelts.

Clay will also mangle the red robes hands further, severing just the fingers. If they are caught, he will tell the goblins that their king was given the wrong fingers. Maybe that will allow us to play the goblins a bit...

Every effort will be made to keep Foxy still and stable. ;) Cross your fingers, Stirling!

Foxy groans as the group jostles her to and up the stream and gets her bedded down, Mr. Farrow staunching her wounds a final time (-1 hp). It is about 1:00 am and the wounded group is desperate for rest. The night is cool and dry, the sky cloudless at first, then with wispy clouds meandering through the day without thought of rain.

The sun came up at the end of the first shift, about 5:23am, the shaded grove of trees providing some relief to those still resting. It is not long after sunrise that Mors picks his head up attentively. The sound of wolves is heard through the trees, but nothing materializes to threaten the group where they nest among the skunk cabbage. The patrols having passed, the rest of the morning is uneventful. The shifts rotate as stated and after twelve hours everyone has gotten their eight hours of rest. Clay has gotten to do his meditation and prayer during the last watch shift as well.

The children in particular are hungry, a cold and dry breakfast the only hope with no campfire.

Day: 04 May 2021
Time: 1:00 pm
Light source: Sun (sunset 8:59pm, moonset 11:57pm, new moon with only 1.6% illumination)
Temp: 56 F
Wind: 9-11 ESE
Injuries: Foxy (dying), Mors (gravely wounded), Mr. Farrow (gravely wounded), Clay (Mildly wounded). George (mildly wounded), Annabelle (mildly wounded), Clarabelle (mildly wounded). Unwounded: Gus, Asala, Maurice the Owl, Three draft horses.

You need food for the day subtracted for everyone. Foxy doesn't need food until she wakes. Clay, three farmers, and two children is 6 man-days of food, plus 1/2 for Mors. Asala and the horses graze and Maurice hunts. Anyone who doesn't eat gets the grumblies and a -1 penalty to die rolls.

You have eight hours until sunset. You estimate you have 24 miles ahead of you back to the farm. Foxy has now stabilized overnight and can be transported via stretcher with damage/day instead of damage/turn. If you choose to memorize any healing spells, you may cast them. If you remain in place until dawn, everyone gets 1d3 hp restored for the day of rest. If you send anyone for hunting/foraging checks, they don't get a healing roll.

Clay Weatherwax
As she lies unconscious, Clay searches Ms. O'Hare's belongings in search of foodstuffs.

1. Why are we waiting until 1 PM to hit the road, as opposed to just after 8 hours of rest? Knowing the goblins will have holed up after sunrise, can we retroactively say we created a litter to be pulled by a horse for Foxy to ride on?
2. After donating food to the mage, Clay only has 2 human rations and 3 dog rations (which are really just 1/2 rations). So I can feed 3 humans and one dog. Does Foxy have any food on her person? Clay feels no remorse rummaging through her belongings at this point.
3. What speed do the draft horses travel at? Can we cover 24 miles in 8 hours? Average human walking speed is ~3 mph, but I know I walk faster than that.
4. If Clay was to cast Purify Food and Drink on a pile of skunk cabbage, does that make them edible like a salad? Or is it intended more for poisoned or spoiled "actual" foods?
5. Do the farmers know of any trails/roads in the area that will lead us back to civilization faster than trekking through the woods? Maybe back to the main road first and then town?
6. What kind of undergarments are in Ms. O'Hare's pack? :P (Sorry, couldn't resist...)

If we can make it to the farm/town/etc in one day, my provisional plan is to keep Foxy "as is" because she doesn't need food. We don't need another mouth to feed right now.
The farmers will get all the food (aside from a share for Morr). They are the better fighters and it keeps them happier with us.
I will likely learn entangle twice, depending on the answers given. It can keep us the safest.

If we need to travel more than one day, we will seek out a cave en route and try to fortify it. Maybe send a note to the farm with Maurice asking for "reinforcements"... :?

You said you rested the first eight hours, then took your shift so the farmers also got eight hours. With your rotational shifts, that takes 12 hours to do. You bedded down at 1:00am and everyone got their eight hours by 1:00pm.

You can head out at 10:00am (after the wolves pass), when Clay and Foxy have both gotten eight hours rest and Clay takes an hour to memorize spells. Gus, George, and Mr. Farrow only get 4 hours rest in this scenario.
Rusty Tincanne wrote:2. After donating food to the mage, Clay only has 2 human rations and 3 dog rations (which are really just 1/2 rations). So I can feed 3 humans and one dog. Does Foxy have any food on her person? Clay feels no remorse rummaging through her belongings at this point.
Her sheet says "4 days trail rations in Clay's saddlebag" and none on her. Not sure how that accounting stands.
Rusty Tincanne wrote:3. What speed do the draft horses travel at? Can we cover 24 miles in 8 hours? Average human walking speed is ~3 mph, but I know I walk faster than that.
You actually do move 3mph - unencumbered and on a road. Cross-country (current terrain) you move 2mph. The horses move 1.5mph, as do you with encumbering otherwise.

So, you need 16 hours to walk. If you leave early and push straight through (and don't get lost) you can reach the farm by 1:00am. You normally have a "forced march" option to add 50%, but given that everyone is wounded and the farmers would have four hours of sleep in the last 36-48 hours, that's dicey.
Rusty Tincanne wrote:4. If Clay was to cast Purify Food and Drink on a pile of skunk cabbage, does that make them edible like a salad? Or is it intended more for poisoned or spoiled "actual" foods?
It will make it safe to eat, but not more appetizing, in that case. If you can get past the stink it, eating it won't make anyone sick.

You know the road is east of you, but pretty far out of the way. Nobody has been this far from the town before.

I was probably told that earlier but then forgot. I haven't used anything but my personal rations to feed folks, so we are good to go.

Clay Weatherwax
This is life. A constant struggle for every breath or ounce of food. It had always been hard to comprehend this, but seeing daughter and father reunited made the whole thing make sense to him. Clay scoured the area for plants, his youthful face set with determination to see this adventure through. He ground the collected items into a foul-smelling paste, wrapped them in a cloth (cleaned in the stream) and asked Mr. Farrow to open his shirt. The wound was grisly and it was a testament to a father's love that he still stood upright.

Clay cleansed the wound with icy-cold water from the nearby stream, causing the farmer to flinch. Beith smiles upon you today. No sign of infection. He placed the cloth over the wound and then sealed it in place with mud. The whole thing was bound in place and Clay placed his hands around it. Cure light wounds, please.

We have a long trek ahead and we know not what we shall encounter. Ms. O'Hare will be born by the litter Gus and George crafted, dragged by the horses. We will do what we can to keep her comfortable. We will travel as far as we can before taking shelter. Hopefully we find an abandoned cave to take shleter in.

Marching Order:
Morr and Clay
Asala and horse with George, dragging Foxy on a travois
Two horses: two girls on one, Mr. Farrow on the third
Gus (short bow till, right?)

The farmers can either ride or walk horses, whatever is fastest.

I don't know if we are in any better shape for a forced march at this point. Probably not with Foxy on the travois.

2 man-rations and one dog ration marked off; Stirling can mark off Foxy's 4 rations too. We will all be hungry tomorrow...

@Stirling: I thought about this a lot and it seems like what we really need is to have the farmers in good fighting shape. It makes your role in this really boring, but I think we can keep us alive better this way. I don't know where your HPs are now, but I think it is better to have Entangle as our back-up, in case we meet a group of hungry trolls... When we get back, these farmers definitely owe us a few days rest! And Mr. Hyde will likely give us a free room and meal. (Or maybe he will buy you some better armor. ;) )

Out of curiosity, we still have the cages with the skulls in them, correct? Those will be loaded onto Asala.

Mr. Farrow thanks Clay, admitting he feels better. His wounds still ooze, but he moves a bit easier.

The group sets out with precious little sleep, hurrying to get home before they are further wounded. The group straggles along under the temperate mid-day sun. Foxy groans in her sleep as her litter bounces over the rocks and fields (-1hp).

It is mid-afternoon when Mors points, indicating dug-up furrows in the earth. Clay sees the signs of wild boar, and enraged boar at that. Clay easily redirects the group to avoid the direction which the tracks were headed, focused on your goal of reaching the farm.

At about 9:00 the sun sets, Clay's lantern comes out. Pushing on into the night, the group labors onward, hurried by the fear of what might pursue behind them. The children whimper.

You all make it to the farm about 2:00am. A haggard-looking Ms. Farrow sees you coming from the porch, ringing a bell to rouse the other hands. She looks as if she hasn't slept in days, throwing herself into the arms of her husband, then covering Annabelle and Clarabelle's heads with kisses as they cling to her and break into fresh rounds of sobbing.

After the tearful reunion, attention turns to Foxy, the tale of her heroism shared with the other farmers. She is gently lifted into the house and set into a feather bed. Clay and his animals are given accommodations in the barn, allowed to rest until he sees fit to rise.

Day: 05 May 2021
Time: 2:00 am
Light source: lantern
Injuries: Foxy (dying), Mors (gravely wounded), Mr. Farrow (gravely wounded), Clay (Mildly wounded). George (mildly wounded), Annabelle (mildly wounded), Clarabelle (mildly wounded). Unwounded: Gus, Asala, Maurice the Owl, Three draft horses.

WHAT!? Foxy gets the feather bed? Hmmph. What about poor Morr?

Human-centric farmers!

Glad to see we were able to push through. Clay will probably explore the area around the farm while Foxy heals up enough to divvy up the treasure.

sure Mrs Farrow would do the decent thing and wash and change Foxys' blood stained clothes, particularly if they have had a load of grubby hands fingering through them. Her evening dress, laced bodice, playtex wonderbra 36DDs', silk stockings and high heels are kept in the wardrobe at the inn, so 'ladies personals' will just have to be kept to a young boys imagination... ;)

Deducted all four days of trail rations, from inventory, there are 8 ep from the cave to add to party funds. I would think you would have ditched the bloody red robes and skulls on the trail, so the birdcages are empty.

If you cast detect magic on stuff don't forget the iron daggers, Foxy, Clay and Mr F have one each.

Foxy was going to ask Dmukaz the priest or a guard for a new wineskin of goblin viagra, retrospectively probably good idea we didn't get that far before the goblins attacked. Maybe should have stipulated how we left, since but I anticipated trouble with Dmukaz not the guards leading us down the tunnel.

Foxy will stay until recovered and not wish to outstay her welcome. I presume Mr Taggart or whoever is back from the infirmary too?

As you are recovering in a secure area, we'll wrap this as the end of the expedition... please feel free to roleplay here to cover the intervening time. When you are ready to return to town you may do so unmolested during daytime hours along the road. (Subtract four hours and go post in town.)

The 5th is a quiet day, a deep, slumbering restful day for both the reunited family, the restless watchers, and the wounded adventurers. Life on the farm resumes on May 6th, cheer and joy replacing the somber fear. Annabelle and Clarabelle emerge with smiles and are greeted with warm hugs fresh-baked fruit tarts. Relief is written on every face, life begins to be normal.

Clay, Mors, and Asala remain in the barn, visiting the farmhouse at off-hours where he is treated to good, fresh-cooked food to eat. He avoids normal mealtimes, letting the family have their space, but does talk to the farmers about the faith of Beith. While they are receptive and grateful, they are rooted in their own faiths and some aspects of Beith just seem a bit too odd. The Farrows are devotees of Gwanwen, as most farmers, while the less-settled of the farmhands tend to pay homage to the mercy and grace of Eruanna. On the morning of the 7th, Clay packs up some snacks and, with Mors at his side, tells the Farrows he intends to spend the day hiking beyond. If all goes well, he'll return by sunset, Asala staying in the farmyard.

Foxy rests in poor condition, her fevered brow on the brink of death. The Farrows, grateful for her passionate service, see to her comforts. Mrs. Farrow washes and mends her clothing, removing blood stains and battle wounds. She recovers slowly and they remain nervous. It isn't until the 9th of May that her eyes finally open, but she is too weak to rise or to move from the bed. When Foxy wakes, she has been bathed and dressed in a plain white shift. They begin her on some broth and she is able to move around gingerly starting on the 10th. By the 12th, she feels well enough to make the journey to town if she chooses (full HP).

Timestamps:
  • Foxy can RP in this thread for the 9th-11th. You can return to town with a timestamp of afternoon on 12 May. (Town is currently on 5 May.)
  • Clay is in a private thread currently on 07 May; he can RP here on the 9th-11th pending that resolution.

Group Total: 1,875 character xp / 1279 item xp each for each PC. I will mark this, and any individual awards, on PC sheets in private forums.

Treasure:
  • 3 goblin-made spears
  • 3 human-made shortbows
  • 27 human arrows
  • 6 human-made daggers
  • Three human-made cold-iron daggers
  • 26 Copper pieces, crudely wrought
  • 14 silver pieces, bearing a closed fist sigil
  • 10 electrum pieces bearing a closed fist sigil
  • A book covered in beige human skin with a weeping eye brand upon it.
  • A book covered in mottle-green goblin skin with a bisected circle brand upon it.
  • A book covered in greyish wolf-hide with a weeping eye brand upon it.
  • A matching pair of probably ornamental Cold Iron bird cages, each with an inscription in a strange tongue and set with 7 Moonstones. It appears to have been made by sophisticated but savage humanoids and are several hundred years old.
  • A platinum set of earrings, each with the image of a goat’s head. The patina on the metal shows its antiquity at several thousand years old.
  • a banded agate
  • a pale blue lapis lazuli
Please check that I didn't miss anything.
- Farmers reclaimed two suits of leather armor, longsword and shield, heavy pick, heavy flail.
- Balex returned with his two shortswords and one set of dwarf-made chainmail.
- They allow Clay to keep Clive's heavy leather overcoat.

Item values:
You can't get sale offers or appraisals until you return to the city. With time for careful examination, you can make a few conclusions if you wish to divvy things now.
  • The earrings and cages are both finely-wrought objects of art with value to historical collectors in the south. You imagine they're both worth a good amount, and perhaps similarly so. Both also have utilitarian value here in the north, as decorative earrings and bird cages.
  • The gemstones are modest. The banded agate is the more impressive of the two.
  • You can sell the human-made gear for half-value in the town, where they'll refurbish it to get the goblin-stain off. Nobody desires goblin-made items for resale.
Next Steps:
  • Post any last RP as you travel and finish at the farm.
  • Handle the disbursement of treasure shares IC on this thread.
  • If you keep any items for resale elsewhere in town, mark here that you're keeping the item, then start it as a new action in the appropriate town threads.
  • Go and RP in the tavern. You arrive at timestamp 1:00pm 12 May 2016. Please at least post in the tavern (or other appropriate town thread) about where you're getting and deducting food and lodging at normal costs.
  • Roll up a second character. If you'd like, and think you can keep up with two expeditions at a time, you can now make a second character because your first has successfully returned from an expedition. We can discuss any questions in your private forums.
  • Memorialize the tale of your expedition in the tavern. Follow the rules for Tributes to Expeditions and gain extra XP. Your tales will go here.
  • If that gold is too heavy in your pack, you can spend up to 100gp to make a Tribute to a Living Adventurer rules and also get more XP. Your memorials will end up here.
  • Use your private forum to assign Item XP to an item you carried on this expedition. Remember: item XP not assigned before your next expedition begins are lost.

Re: Expedition - Foxy/Lost Children- 01 May 2021

Stirling, Foxy needs to deduct a flask of oil (for the trek home). And you mentioned in a PM that she wants one of the iron daggers. You can put that in your inventory. It is non-magical, unfortunately. (I have already deducted it from Clay's inventory.) Clay is keeping one for utilitarian/ceremonial uses, only - he cannot wield a dagger, after all. If you prefer, we could leave the two daggers for the to girls - a keepsake from their harrowing adventure.

Clay has cast detect magic - the only things with magical auras are the spell books.

Clay is heading to the hex to the Northwest for a day or two to explore it. 8 miles there, 8 back - that allows him to go 4 miles in/out in one day. He might spend the night though so he can look deeper. He should be back before Foxy wakes up and they can discuss splitting up the goods at that time, but I suggest:

Sell the daggers and bows for coin.
Split all that cash-money.
Foxy gets earrings and one horse. Clay gets cages and two stones. Farmers get daughters and two drafts horses.
We can sell the spell books, I suppose. They are no good to either of us. We can split the proceeds. The Duke will be interested in the Mages to the West, but we need to come up with a story of how we met them that omits the goblin warren, unless we decide to flush them out for rewards. (Clay would want a tract of land to be preserved and is willing to exterminate one tribe of goblins for this.)

Marullus, did Gus or George want to come with him? I wouldn't mind someone that can actually fight since Foxy is down for the count.
