Hullo! Fancy meeting you all here.

#1 Post by Vile »

I see a lot of familiar forum handles there, plus many who are new to me. I realise I joined 3 years ago and only posted for the first time yesterday - anyway, here I am. You may or may not know me as the publisher of BLUEHOLME™. I mostly prefer relatively simple systems like OD&D, Holmes, and B/X (and their clones) - especially for online gaming. I've never run a PbP game but I might have to try soon when I finish BLUEHACK™. Hopefully I can garner some interested players here when the time comes.

Hey Vile! Good to see you here. Fancy meeting you here indeed.
Hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us!
Be well,
--Ron--
This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Alethan: I'm good with NOT pressing our luck this time.
mjulius: That's how I know I'm home.
Pulpatoon: The whole point of PbP is to take the scheduling pressure off the game. We're just chatty because we're so eager!
Scott308: ...everyone should be reminded of just how wonderful the people they play games with here can be in real life.
Leitz: Quality and quantity wise, I think US is the best I've seen.
Paladin: I can promise terror, glory, and riches...or a quick and brutal death.
Inferno: Come on! That's was Vicar's Head, a completely different doomed village!
Rex: I can move to the wait list to let someone else into the game.

I'm a big fan of BLUEHOLME, and really pleased to have the chance to bump into you in an actual game!

I'm intrigued about BLUEHACK, and am also keenly anticipating progress of BLUEHOLME Compleat. This forum would be a great place to playtest some higher level play (hint, hint).

Just to bring you up-to-date, the additional classes of the BLUEHOLME™ Compleat Rules have been proving a bit of a pain, so the next thing will be the BLUEHOLME™ Journeymanne Rules - just the four basic classes, but Compleat in every other way: https://dreamscapedesign.net/2016/03/26 ... rneymanne/

I have certainly been eyeing this forum with an eye to a playtest ... :geek:

Welcome.
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.
