I wrenched my back yesterday and moving at all makes me very nervous. I will probably keep up with posting but if I lag, know that I will be back up to speed as soon as I feel a little better. I will try to only take my frustration out on NPCs and not PCs.
Quick protocol question: I recall reading that the powers that be ask that threads not be longer than 20 pages. I am wondering if this needs to be followed strictly. I prefer to collate posts by topic/scenario but can split things by number of pages if that is better for whatever reason. I am asking because we are about to hit 21 pages on the current game thread. I don't want to cause problems for admin because they're the ones who let me into this fantastic playground in the first place.
Yeah, I think it's a suggestion—but I'm not sure what headaches a much larger thread might cause the admins.
In any case, I would think that our present moment would be a good one to start a new thread, since our motivation is changing a bit. We've gone from directly seeking the plaques to a bit of opportunistic dungeon-delving. That seems like a good place for a chapter break.
For the first half of the return trip to Mom's the horses will need to be walked as the brush and trees is thicker but it is doable. The last half of the trip back is clear enough that people can ride.
Sweet! I had heard of the word but did not know what it meant. That is something I can use as both an attack on someone else and a descriptor for myself.
