Hi everyone!
I didn't want to make a reappearance without first offering an enormous apology to everyone who was affected by my sudden departure from the site a while back. To just vanish with no word and in such circumstances was extremely uncool and I absolutely own that. I got overwhelmed with everything going on with me personally and I just kind of broke because I couldn't quite handle it. I abdicated on a bunch of responsibilities that were about way more than just how I spend my casual time. For that, I truly and sincerely apologize.
Life has been, and continues to be, quite a mess for me but I am trying to figure things out one bit at a time. I'm not going to jump back in any games, and especially not try to run any, but I missed you guys and want to lurk and visit-by-proxy with you and felt bad doing it without letting you know it was happening.
Thanks to folks for your concern and your thoughts--they were received even if I was terrible about being a good communicator in response. I'm glad this place is still going full-bore: it's the best part of the Internet.
Yours, KE

Hey Keehnelf, glad to have have you back, even if just in spririt. Although I was not a player in any of your campaigns, I did miss the crazy, but always entertaining, antics of Buckey, the Halfling Ragdoll (among other assorted, and equally entertaining, titles) in my campaign.
First and foremost, take your time and ease back into things. I can tell you from experience, things get easier and things get harder. Try to take them one at a time. That's all you can do.

Keehnelf! Good to see you're back, sorta back anyway
I left myself for a good long while and after being back for several months now I'm still easing myself into stuff so I completely understand that when life is kicking your ass something fierce it's hard to really get into a hobby such as this one.
It's good to see ya again!

Life is a roller coaster, if you don't stop to enjoy it then you may as well not even ride.

I don't have too much to say, but I did want to give you a 'welcome back', so.... Welcome back!
I hope your time spent reading the forums is an enjoyable one, and if I see you in another game sometime in the future, all the better!

Welcome back Keehnelf! It was sad to see you go, I think your Torchbearer game was the first one I signed off on after joining the site. We had a great and lovably dysfunctional team going in that one.
Take it easy and enjoy what you can, when you can. I've had to bow out of games myself recently, and slow down the post rate of the ones I'm running until I finish up my programme—and right when a new load of really great games are starting up, too.
Hope to keep seeing you around, even if it's just poking around the general forums!

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.

No worries and welcome back, Keenelf. I've had the same thing happen to me. I think most, if not all, the people here are understanding of real life trumping game time and are always wecoming to the return of a wayward forumite. hope things smooth out for you soon. Until then don't let the bastards wear you down

Welcome back, Keehnelf.
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.
