Hello from a new member...

I Just wanted to stop in and say hello and give a little introduction. I am in my mid 40's and have been playing D&D/RPGs in one form or another since the late 70s and they have been a big part of my life. Most of my good friends are people that I have met because of these games and I am happy to say that almost all are still my good friends after all of these years. Due to the whole growing up/responsibilty/family thing my gaming time has pretty much dropped to 0 (aside from an hour of computer gaming here and there).

I have played in a couple of PbP games in the past and I had a blast with them. I am not sure if I just got lucky with a really good DM and player base or if it was the norm for most PbP games but I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. I have to admit that I was pretty skeptical at first about PbP because I didn't know how well RP'ing could work using just text. I am glad I gave it a shot. The two games I played in were a RC campaign and a Warhammer Fantasy game.

I really miss playing BEMCI/RC and AD&D 1E so I am hoping that at some point I can get into a game or two now that I have found this fantastic site.

A post over on the Dragonsfoot forums by rredmond looking for players for the Lost City adventure brought me here so I just wanted to say thank you rredmond! (or maybe curse you! )

Welcome Brund, i'm with you PbP seems to be about the only RPG fix I can get anymore. Until i can learn to play them solo which still isn't feasible lol.
