Round 2
"I got no ranged weapons still," Leliana says as she advances a few steps, keeping her shield raised in front of her. "There's quite a few o' the buggers, but maybe we should jus' rush 'em" the wounded Grim suggests, realizing that engaging the creatures in melee would prevent them from using their bows. Sylvan, without a ranged weapon, rushes to Sparrow's side and applies the healing wand, complimenting the warrior on his effective elimination of two threats moments earlier.

Sorsha creeps out from behind the rocks and tosses two daggers at the nearest kobold, but her aim is a bit off and her blades twirl past their mark, sinking into the sand several yards beyond their target. Fulp plays with his dog tag and prays quietly as he grabs a few small rocks from his pocket. Targeting the nearest kobold, he hurls three stones at the nearest kobold, striking it solidly and knocking it to the ground, unmoving. Ciar steps forward and fires a sling bullet at a nearby kobold, but misses his mark.

A dozen arrows are volleyed against the party. There were a few very near misses, but only Sylvan, while reaching up to apply the healing wand to Sparrow, gets struck as he feels the sting of an arrow sinking into his side.

Sparrow feeling more restored after the healing attempt, maintains his position and lets loose a second pair of arrows, striking with the second, and dropping another kobold.

OOC: Is it possible to shift diagonally between boulders? Like Fulp moving from 99 to 83, for example? Does it impact movement rate?

Sorsha will slide south and west (tile 67) and launch another 2 daggers at the kobold directly south of her. (k4)

"Let's settle this!" Ciar cries, running out from the safety of the rocks...

Attempting to evade any arrows as best he can, via dodging, ducking, dipping, diving, and dodging, Ciar scurries out of the security of the boulders, heads to 173, and then moves to 189 and tries to make his way to 218, drawing sword and dagger so he can attack that kobold the next round.

Trying to give Ciar some cover, and having mixed results with his simple weaponry skills...
Fulp grabs a couple more rocks and heaves them at the closest open kobold.

Sparrow would slap himself in the forehead if his hands weren't full.

I thought you were talking about those little shits! He shouts to Sylvan after he realizes his mistake.

Thanks for the boost! I really needed that!!! He says to the druid after getting healed.

He then shouts to whoever will listen.
Lets try to prevent them from running back into their rathole so they cant regroup. Make a charge towards the lower tunnel if you can! I will try to cover you and take more of their fire if I can.

He plucks off another pair of arrows at the two legged vermin.

6 total arrows deducted

Seeng the Halflng attack:

"Crazy bugger aint he? Well Sparrow me lad, I think now is the time to charge - are you ready?"

Grim waits for a response then goes to the other flank from Ciar - going for the nearest kobold on that side.

Sylvan heads directly south in an attempt to cut off kobolds getting inside, obviously moving slightly west to avoid 160.

Spear attack [1d20] = 11, damage [1d6] = 3

Seeing Frim in bad shape, he tries to stay near him in case he needs healing.

Leliana moves to 173 with her shield up, hoping to get closer to the kolbolds to be able to do something.

Round 3
Sorsha slides a few steps further out and spends two more knives twirling south at the nearest kobold target. The two perfectly placed blades find their mark and manage to successfully drop the scaly creature.

"Let's settle this!" Ciar cries, running out from the safety of the rocks and begins weaving his way between the gaps in the boulders on his way south, readying himself to engage with the nuisances. Looking to provide Ciar some cover, Fulp grabs a couple more rocks and heaves them at the closest open kobold, and manages to connect with his first toss which bounces off the scaly hide of its target. "Lets try to prevent them from running back into their rathole so they can't regroup," Sparrow yells to anyone that will listen, all while sending another pair of arrows at the pair of kobolds furthest away from the group. His second arrow finds its mark, wounding its recipient heavily. "Crazy bugger ain't he?" Grim muses as the dwarf watches Ciar move in to engage. "Well, Sparrow, me lad, I think now is the time to charge - are you ready?" he asks to the human archer.

Leliana scoots between the boulders she had been using as cover, and presents an opening for Grim and Sylvan behind her. Grim, after spotting the arrows from Sparrow continue to fly, takes advantage of the opening the elven maiden created moments earlier and rushes straight at the nearest kobold... which he manages to cut down with a powerful strike of his battle axe. Sylvan follows Grim through the opening between the boulders and, after the two nearest kobolds are struck down before he arrives, keeps an eye on his dwarven companion, ready to provide aid as necessary.

The kobolds, seeing their numbers drop, hastily retreat, with the nearest kobold able to just enter the southern tunnel while the trailing kobold only manages to reach the entrance.

Ciar attacks K7 from behind with sword and dagger...

To Hit, Short Sword [1d20+2] = 16+2 = 18 Damage [1d6] = 6

To Hit, Notched Dagger (Second Weapon) [1d20-3] = 2-3 = -1 Damage [1d4] = 2

Well... Hopefully that first one got it.

Is k8 dead? it is red but not struck through... trying to see if that means merely damaged.

Soraha will head south towards Grim collecting her thrown daggers on the way.
She wipes the brackish blood from the blades and comments "That was much better."
She'll sheath two and keep two in hand.
still missing 2 daggers thrown at kobolds on the platforms.

Wow, I was fooled by my own map. Good catch.

No, k8 is not dead (yet), but is heavily wounded. I'm on my phone at the moment and won't be able to update the map until later, but k8 will be retreating as well. Let's put it just in front of k7, at 251.

Sparrow stops shooting arrows now that his friends are engaged.

Hey Ciar! Are you thinking what I'm thinking?

If half of us follow them back in and the other half of us go around through this upper tunnel, maybe we can meet up in the middle and wipe these things out for good?

He stows his bow and draws his scimitar. He pulls out his ever-lit torch for the final charge against these creatures.

Maybe we keep that last little prick alive for questioning? He shouts in Sylvans direction before heading back into the cave entrance.

No, because no one was engaged in melee with them.
